Fins groups are utter crap!

Ok, here goes.

I've now been trying constantly to get in to fins grp for 1 week and 5 days (aye, i keep track). Still got nothing i'm afraid. And that's fair enough, but what i cannot take, is that them ***** listholders keep moving me back on the list! Tried it soo many times; "You're number 2", and when i ask "You're number 5". Makes you wanna puke don't it?

I'm not trying to flame someone with this list (Hi fryslann). Just maybe seeing of some other ppl have had it like me? Really wanna ding my NS 50, but kind of impossible, eh? I mean, if i cant get a grp in 1½ week, when will i ding?

if u want to lvl why not make a grp of your own and go to one of the many places way better such as fomor, TS, vigilant rocks got a few places, EZ

Lol. I kinda had figured that out . Anyways, that number 2 to 5 jump was made by fryslann, and i asked him 10 mins after i got added.

make your own groups its much easier, no 1 is perfect and people make mistakes with the list, he might have even moved you down the list for asking 10 mins after adding yourself so many better spots than fins its crazy

the list started this morning you were the first person at the fins.

but you were afk spinning in circles constantly.

there was another nightshade that came along and got straight in.

Basically most peeps that get in fins grps stay there for a good 5-7 hours.

As a NS there will only be one slot for you (which is same for most classes cept druids and chanters.)

I have needed to lvl so I just get up one hour earlier and start the fins grp.

It is though though m8 but the bottom line is if you want the fins grp go to bed earlier and get up as the fins grp starts forming in the morning.

Well u got to lvl 44 in 2.5 week and during that time u tried to get into fins 1.5 weeks its sound to me u are better of without fins...

(my ns took not weeks it took months and nowadays u have more spots better ns specc more quests and so on)

Get up 06.00 on a Weekday.
Go to main fins spot.
Make the group.
Hold the list.
Go to sleep at 00.00.
Reoeat until 50.

m00 i did fins for 5 days, skipped school went to comp instead, sat there from 07.00 to 16-19.00 for 5 days did epicquests from 7ish to 50ish the last day.. a week of hell for 9 levels and a shiiiite armor.. was fun

bah when i made my chanter i was like 2 times in fin when list holder beged me to come well fins sucks but crim fins rock whit 3ppl i think the main spot at CF is also good but whit fg hmm it sucks



make yor own grp there are alot of good places to ding 50.

Ehe No way am i gonna skip school, but thanks for the advice i guess. . Guess i'll just get added before i go to school and hope i get in when i come home (as i did try to before).

Is it ok to eat while you're in the grp btw? Like lunch and dinner?

lol, when i ask for grp i always get no. I've soloed from 20-39, and got PL'ed most of 40-45.. though that is not an option anymore ;>

Maybe you should make groups

You don't get lvl 50 for free or something.

I was also in the group of Fryslan and Censi yesterday. I woke up at 8 AM, logged in the game and PM'd him. There were only 4 people in the group, after I arrived we had to wait for 2 more persons before we could start pulling.

Fins suck, and everybody knows that. You can get better exp at Fomorians, Siabra city, EZ, etc... With my first lv 50 I asked to be put on the list every day in the evening, during weekends in the morning. I waited for 4 weeks, before I could enter in a Fins group. So don't be nervous. A guild mate waited yesterday also the whole day and couldn't join, so don't think it went wrong yesterday.

Fryslan was the main healer in our group yesterday and list holder. Because of that, he was pm'ed all the time, which made it almost impossible to do both jobs at the same time in a correct way. Although I find we did fine, no complaints at all during the whole day. There were only very few changes during the whole day.

It's not because you waited for a long time, and even after all that time didn't get an invite, you have to flame on the list holder.

Like others say, wake up in the morning very soon, preferably Sunday morning. Or you can start your own group. If you want to do fins, do it on the secondary spot or at Breifine.

err some of you ppls dont seem to get it , when givin answers like : there are better places to exp , dont go fins etc.
Compare fins to other grps :

Fins :

*Grps are going allday , and long time of night aswell til morning
*You can get to fins even if your lvl 1 ppls wont have to come get you etc
*You always have replacements if the listkeeper aint stupid
*Xp is ok and if you compare xp over time to any other ez grp / fomor then fins r really uber.

Other grps :

* Usually nice xp aslong as you are pulling and aint waitiin/headin back to entrance for a replacer
* Always someone for example druid have to leave after like 1 hour when you reached xp spot
*1 Wipe and its like 99% chance that grp will split cause some ppls lack patience and will to try again

Ofcourse some ppls might say its more fun with other grp but since i had my 50:s i can say and i know many others do too that xp cant really be fun doesnt matter how you make it , its just zzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZ.

But ofcourse i agree that there might be better "spots" to xp but u need ppls to do it aswell and it usually takes an hour +- 30min to have grp set. And if it takes too long time some ppls cba to w8 and leave grp. And it happened many times that druid/warden etc leave for fins spot when u got going.

So i d say : Do like Divinia did , and i did myself too. Its the only way to get 50 if you wanna do it quick. I did like 44-50 in 2 days at fins so cant complain about the xp really.

Cant say i was v happy about breifine fine i arranged some grps there but they usually end up getting wiped by enemies since most of ppls know about that spot. If you got grp an alternative would be Hib RvR cave located in Breifine too. If highlvl grp go down to summoners hall and camp start of it nice exp and lots of Rog drops to salvage. But as mentioned in post above , make sure your grp will stay atleast 3 hours + otherwise not worth the effort to get down there. Make sure u have 1 who knows Marfach well too :> cause its kinda trixxy to find there imo

Fins .... why ?

XP at EZ, Formor, TS, Siabra City and compare the XP, they ALL give you MORE XP. Forget fins, and if you find getting a group together for antoher place hard just ask the list holder for details of the people on the end of the list for each class, pm them, and get all of them into a group to go and get better xp elsewhere.
