I hope you didnt think i was trying to be funny by bowing mate, just Cadfael saying hello to you while you slept peacefully by the river after the Alb zerg came through.(about 10:50pm gmt)

You'll notice that I yelled straight after bowing, the yell was "Dont camp ffs", completely unheeded of course.

Hey there mate!

Yes i saw you too cadfael, forgive me for not getting up to return the bow, i was actually in the middle of a very important archaelogical dig, and trying to uncover a fossilised footprint. the missing link between cavemen and albs. it was such intense work, and i was focussing so hard on the ground i had to lay down, and stay very still.

thanks for the bow, i shall return it with interest soon.

and it seems my studies were proven there is a link between (some) albs and cavemen, for immediately after you bowed, a stealther uncovered and spam laughed me (he had had nothing to do with my death incidentally). but hey, some people dig that kinda stuff.

special salute to rexo the firewizard, we duelled like gunslingers in front of the entire alb army as they sat on the slopes of the mid tk. dont you know yet? nobody can outgun dirtyharry...............1 shot kill..............go ahead punk.

I have had my fair share of luck resisting nukes, I felt sorry for the 2 elf casters last night that I had a run in with.

I often like to run round the flank of a fight and charge the casters, I did this at HB last night and whacked an elf about a bit, he decided it would be a good idea to get the hell out of dodge and ran for it.
As I'm about to give chase I'm mezzed by another elf caster, so I turn to face her. She winds up for a nuking session, and I think to myself, she had better get me in 2 hits or she is in real trouble. Her first seemed to hit, my mezz was broken, I hit my sprint and kung fu buttons. The second hit resisted and I was on top of her beating the bejesus outta her, she died extremely quickly. I always use a fast staff and combine that with friar haste buff and very few casters can get off any sort of spell.

Couple of tips here for BG newbies,
1) try and get a group with a minstrel or caster using haste spell (you'll be amazed at how fast you can run around a group and get to the guys at the back)

2) When attacking casters at the back always go for the rear most one first, the others are almost always looking forward into the battle and won't notice you beating up their buddy. Then it's rinse and repeat.



I hate being on the receiving end of nukers, its a real helpless feeling as a non ranged character, that's why when I get the chance to close with one I try to be as ruthless as possible, cos you know the next one you run into will probably be at max range and grinning maliciously at you

That wouldn't be me as my mentalist is a celt. I stunned you, nuked twice and got you to about 30% then you were near so I qc nuked and you resisted ARG!!

Had a nice one with a norse tank a bit later. He ran at me so I mezzed him as he hit my bt, then ran off. A tank broke mez on him and instead of chasing me down he stopped to fight it... stun, nuke, nuke, goodbye Mr. Norse. The moral being, don't stop to fight tanks when there's a caster near you.

Elves, Celts, they all look the same to me when I'm running about like a looney in the middle of a hib group. I couldn't even tell you if my adversaries were gentlemen or laydees, I get a little excited in battle......must be down to the battle rage brought on by my misssus playing SClub7 while I BG.

Glad to see that you held your ground and at least tried to fight, nothing more frustrating than players that run away when you close with them.

I agree about the norse mate, he should have finished you (which, no offence shouldnt be much of a problem for a mid fighter class) first. Hib casters are an absolute nightmare if you leave them to do their stuff.

It was also good to see Hibs in fairly decent numbers

Yes i second that, good to see some sizeable forces of hibs who return after being cained and kept comin back. So refreshing from looking at butt ugly mids all the time.

Well it was pretty crap earlier on when albs had 30+ people there, later in the evening though their numbers thinned a lot and it was much better.
