As much as I can't stand J.J. Abrams for turd like Lost, I'm really interested in this (But not so much as to bother with that EthanHaaswasright viral marketing crap).

That said, the Statue of Liberty's head being thrown looked really cheesy tbh.

Just walked past a pirate DVD store here in Mexico. *Tempted to pick up Transformers, but may be annoyed by shakycam and audience coughing.* Will wait I think.

NB. Thought Die Hard 4 was better than 2 and 3 but obviously nowhere near the original. Ocean's 13 was more enjoyable than the last one but I think that should be it. George and his mates should find another excuse to avoid doing real work.

I watched the trailer for that the other night. Isn't supposed to be themed around some of Lovecrafts work ?

Well I never. Decent Harry Potter movie shock! For once, paring down the overly long book has actually improved matters, Daniel Radcliffe actually acts in this one, Michael Gambon has obviously bothered to read one of the books rather than doing his own interpretation of Dumbledore, and Imelda Staunghton is absolutely spot on as Umbridge.

Unfortunately Emma Watson still can't act, and I'm going to Hell for thinking naughty thoughts about her.

Hah, I bought Versus on a whim some time ago, thought it was fucking loco and haven't seen it in ages. Really ought to watch it again and make some sense of it.

Bizarrely, it's because of films like that i'm taking a language course in Japanese to (eventually) watch them without subtitles to actually see them without being distracted by the pages of text being scrolled beneath the action.

you should check out kitmuras other films which were made on a shoe string budget like origami and alive and jam films, the sets are top notch as is the over the top violenece

also look for versus ultimate edition its much more fun

Had me and mates (admittedly after a few beers) cracking up and replaying it for about half an hour :]
