Yet to be released:
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
Sin City 2
Transformers
The Dark Knight

Released, but need to see:
Shrek 3
Zodiac

I Am Legend looks terrible, but Joshua looks really interesting. First I've heard of it, and now I'll keep an eye out for it. :)

I'm intrigued by I Am Legend, but then I LOVE apocolpyse scenarios. Growing up, I devoured John Christopher books, and am still drawn to the genre. I was so sad that The Day After Tomorrow was rampantly shite.

Joshua does look cool. Kind of Omen, without the supernatural.

I thought the last Fantastic 4 film was dull, so not holding my breath for the next film. The Dark Knight should be cool, especially as they've cut out the Katie Holmes dead wood.

I Am Legend
Oceans 13
Transformers
Angels and Demons
ooo, didn't know they were doing Angels and Demons.

Basically looking forward to everything here and Sicko (Which was actually very good, if a little bit to much like propaganda in places). So, I was looking forward to that one, then I saw it. Doh!

But... but... but.... Didn't you people see The Da Vinci Code? Isn't that like being a little bit excited, waiting for your next cold sore outbreak?

dungeon siege featuring jason statham and ray lliota. uwe boll is making it, so i think it might be one of those "so bad it's good" type films, or it'll just be plain awful.

YouTube - In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale Trailer

die hard 4 is going to be great, and the new rambo as well. the new fantastic four looks good. i liked the first even though it was slated. it was what i wanted from a movie adaption of the comics really, and the silver surfer being in definitely has me interested :)

there are a few other movies that sound quite interesting like this one featuring one of my favourite standups, demetri martin - The Rocker (2008) - it's got larry david's manager from curb in too :D

Jesus,

Is that all we have to look forward to? Remakes, sequels and shite cartoon adaptations?

Dan Brown can take is silly religion challenging tripe and fuck off as far as I'm concerned. It isn't clever and it certainly isn't entertaining.

The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is 'His Dark Materials' trilogy. The Golden Compass (or Northern Lights) is out soon and has a pretty decent cast and actually looks like it might do the novels some justice.

Other than that I can only say 'This is England'. Despite being out already, I haven't had a chance to see it yet and it looks fantastic.

Trasformers, Die Hard and the rest can die. I've spent enough money watching brain rot.

Meh, I have to agree with Dams though. The only decent sequel this year will be The Dark Knight. Heath Ledger looks tremendous as The Joker. And Eckhart as Two Face. :)

I was going to say nada, but I have to agree with others here about The Dark Knight. Hopefully it'll be as ace as the first.

Blimey, got your period or something? What's not to love about The Simpsons? It's The Simpsons for crying out loud. And the first two Bournes were great!

leggy, get over it. Transformers looks great, how can you not wet yourself over it. Die Hard needs a decent send of after the atrocity that was 3. I forgot about Bourne till DaGaffer mentioned it, and I did not realise The Dark Knight was out this year. Oceans 13 is also very good. Nothing wrong with remakes and sequels as long as they are good.

It appears so, I was in an uber grumpy mood when I posted that.

I've been watching the Transformers trailers that have been appearing over the net and I have to agree that it looks very impressive. Just reserving judgment until I have seen it.

I don't disagree that Bourne will be good. I loved the other 2.

As for the simpsons. I'm one of those rare people who don't watch it.

Die Hard 4.0 (or Live Free and Die Hard as its called in the US) is rumoured to be a 12A.

Yippee kay ay you incredibly nasty person etc. What fucking idiot agreed to that. Anyways I will still watch it, preferably late on when all the bairns are in bed.

Legz - This Is England is indeed very good. Being old enough to remember the time its set in I was impressed enough by the fact they'd got the skinhead look completely nailed and the period. The main skinhead girl...*DROOL*. The young lad is the star of the show though, top acting and he is about 10 or something IIRC.

I never gave a flying fuck about Transformers as I was probably a little old for them when they came out but the trailers for the film look suprisingly good so I will give it a whirl.

Bourne Ultimatum - check, loved first 2 and want to see that steadycam-jump from one block straight into the window of another block-shot from the trailer.

Hmm I Am Legend :( The Omega Man on which it is based is one of my all time fave films. I love end of the world/apocalyptic films too Dams. Charlton Heston seemed to have these down to a tee in the 70's with Omega Man and Soylent Green etc. It *could* be good, but Will Smith...gah. Have to see. Hope he doesn't shoot the vamps whilst making wisecracks. Fingers crossed.

John Rambo actually looks quite good from the trailer, I'm probably looking most forward to that. Seeing some "gooks" neck's being popped will take me back 20 years :p

Vamps? There are vampires in it? *SPASM* Cross genre love fest! (I'm secretly looking forward to seeing "Rise", but don't tell anyone.)

erm how do I do spoiler tags on here again?

lemme see
bald people are bad hmmkay

aha works.

I presume you've read up on the story of I Am Legend? If they are following the same path as Omega Man and I think they are then Mr Smith will be the only survivor of a gentic virus thingy doo dah. In Omega Man the people who are infected can only move around at night, they are not true vampires but for all intents and purposes they might as well be. Can't go out in daylight, drink the blood of the living etc etc. Bah wish I had a copy here!

Yes :( I liked TDVC, even though it was nothing compared to the book. (Not going to bring the LoTR argument into this) - I liked it, therefore I want to see the second one xD
