What the IMDB link doesn't show yet is that this is a Planet of the Apes prequel, probably to be called Caesar: Rise of the Apes.
I don't see it being any worse than Tim Burton's effort 9 years ago which was utterly dire.
The 'Ape' films were just popcorn munchers with a really cool sci-fi idea at the core. (How Burton managed to cock that up really is beyond me. )
Anyway, fingers crossed this will be decent whenever it appears
I remember enjoying the Ape films, although they did drag them out a bit. Sci Fi geeks will already know that the various Ape films were directly responsible for Star Wars getting made
No idea when this is coming but added it in here rather than making a whole new thread for it.
Independance Day meets War of the Worlds meets Cloverfield probably. I won't be rushing to the cinema to see it but I'll watch it when it becomes available direct to home.
