The flames recently closed has all been directed to a DAOC char and as soon as 1 postfarm or some retard ruins a perfectly fine flame thread you lock it, how about doing the moderation thing atleast once in awhile?

IMO there are as many playing daoc still...but alot less active ppl on FH than it was on BW.

I don't mind a bit of flaming/whining but the moment people start making serious insults such as "die irl", pull people's rl in it and in general making insults that are not needed at all we tend to lock it yes.

Some people seriously should learn the meaning of the word "game". I can't imagine any ingame action that justifies people to wish someone dead or gives you the right to judge someones real life/looks or insult in a bad way.

I understand very well that people can get worked up about the game and feel the need to vent it on these forums but some people take it way too far. These forums are not made to cause a player hell ingame or outside it.

Now that I've boosted your ego, I'll let you in on a little secret.

There are rules, they are there to stop every thread decaying into a "HAHHA m8, IM GOIN TO HUNT U DOWN AND KILL YOU IRL, WATCH YOUR BACK MOTHRE FUCKERrrERR". While you may find these threads funny, many people do not - and I'm sure most of the mods and the owners of FH fall under that 'not finding it funny' category.
