Hiya,
By the looks of things Windows XP restored an older backup or something.
When Windows loaded all of the files that i had on the desktop were gone (i had the whole screen covered with them almost
3 remain), windows refuses to have a "quick launch" toolbar on the start menu..not sure what else has changed...
I cant remember what its called, but there used to be a program in accessories that allowed you to change to an older backup.. was thinking that i might be able to change Windows back to how it was before this.. ( oh yeah this has been "removed")but in a sense that would be a newer backup?
Not talking much sense am i.. if anyone can suggest anything to try / or a program it would be great. I would not normaly care but had so much college work... which i have not backed up clap clap me..
[Edit] Also when i ran scan disc it said something about not being able to retain the lost data.. i hope thats not true
Thanks for any help!
