Hey just got FIFA 08 and useing ps2 controller but it wont let me do any tricks or choose diff players useing right analog can anyone help me and tell me if theres a option ? cant find it lol rep will be awarded

You probably have to go into settings and configure/assign the buttons, but you wont do that because Fifa is for people with the gaming nourishment requirements of a parent.

The new Fifa should have some nifty features, like the one, where you're a single player throughout a game, which focuses a lot on your tactical abilities and "teaches" you to play football in a way

Haven't tried it though, waiting for PES 8

However, anyone know how I can play one player through the season? so far I can only do training matches, so it's not as I was hoping.

Some guy told me there's an online function which lets you and a friend play two players on one team, but I haven't found that one neither..

Playing it on the 360 btw.

5 players on each team, implemented within 2 months.

and yes, you can only play 1 match as a pro in SP. It's only a trial of it.

I heard that the new fifas fairly akin to fifa street? this true in any way? (ie not football just a ronaldinho showpiece type thing, I remember in fifa 98 you could run the length of the field using certain "tricks" with any kind of player )

and yea PES is the winner, hands down, but only in multiplayer

PES8 is way more arcady than FIFA 08.

Yes, there are loads of tricks in FIFA08, but they're very hard to pull off correctly. It's based alot on skill, unlike the earlier fifa games.

Right now it's the most fun trick system I've ever seen in any football game.

Just managed to dribble my way past the whole defense of Valencia with Henry on Professional. It takes alot of getting used to if you're going to do that though, the controls can be quite hard to master (trick controls that is).
