Topic of this competition is If you go down to the woods today as chosen by Milou, winner of compo #5

Picking the next comps subject.

Rules

* The photo must be your own
* No text that isn't part of the original photo
* No merging of more than one photo
* Keep photos to a sensible size. It shouldn't be tiny, and viewers shouldn't have to scroll.
* Max of three entries. Multiple entries of the same shot from different angles etc not allowed.
* Entries must be within the CoC (no cock, no flange)
* Allowed 'shopping : Rotating (finished image must be cropped to a rectangle), cropping, resizing, red-eye removal, lens correction (only to remove lens distortion, chromatic abberation and light falloff, etc.), non-selective image adjustments (changing levels throughout full image, blur, sharpen, noise reduction etc), gradient masks (linear only) for exposure correction

Right, this is the best i can do currently and know they are not from Qatar, as you have probably already guessed - what it being a desert and the pictures having rivers and loads of plants in there.

These are snaps that i took in 2006 with my Sony Cybershot on vacation. I am sorry if the quality is a bit low but i cba to get my old pc out and download the full size pictures off it.

Hope these turn out ok.

I thought I might give this one a go. I took these about 6 years ago on a 2 megapixel camera so the quality's a bit poo but I thought they looked quite good for the time.

The highlights on the high branches in the sunlight, to the centre of the picture. I'm being super critical though.
