This I took in Bayeux, it's the museum that houses the Bayeux tapestry, in the middle of modern-ish (for France anyway) houses around it.

Thought there was no photoshopping in this competition? Anyway regardless i cant use it anyway - well not yet but hope to join a course soon - so all good.

I don't think there's any problem with photoshopping, unless of course you mean 'photoshop a magenta cock onto a tree' or something. I use photoshop on nearly every image I take, to correct slight exposure problems, straighten the horizon, put a bit of a vignette on, etc.

On that subject, what do people think about HDR? I've used it for some of my images (not in these compos) not to impress people, but as a means of creating a more faithful reproduction of a scene.
