That can be anything, bedtime for your kids, scary monsters, stars, long exposure shots, anything that makes the viewer think of nightime.

Deadline

14th September, 12:00 (yes, this is faster than the other one, so you will have to hussle)

Prize

Picking the next comps subject.

Rules

* The photo must be your own
* No text that isn't part of the original photo
* No merging of more than one photo
* Keep photos to a sensible size. It shouldn't be tiny, and viewers shouldn't have to scroll.
* Max of three entries. Multiple entries of the same shot from different angles etc not allowed.
* Entries must be within the CoC (no cock, no flange)
* Allowed 'shopping : Rotating (finished image must be cropped to a rectangle), cropping, resizing, red-eye removal, lens correction (only to remove lens distortion, chromatic abberation and light falloff, etc.), non-selective image adjustments (changing levels throughout full image, blur, sharpen, noise reduction etc), gradient masks (linear only) for exposure correction

I will probably post more than one, but here's a photo I took while driving down to Jerez in Spain, the bloke in the shot is a work collegue:

The stars are visible through his body - that's because as soon as the flash had fired I moved him out, it was a long exposure. The noisy horizontal lines are an old firmware on the camera, since updated.

That's a cool shot, but how did you avoid him blurring across the screen when he moved out of the way?

He was lit with the flash, it was pitch black without.

You can get some really cool affects by doing that nath. Try shooting in very low light and getting the same subject to move and stand still for a period of time in different spots. You will need a very long exposure though.
