I'm just a rule nazi though Nath, I absolutely admit it, I like having rules and I like everyone to stick by them. It's a negative personality trait of mine.

Give yourself a rule that you mustn't so strictly obey the rules. You'll BSOD your brain!

guys, I actually have a reason to extend...it's not a completely random act.

I will not change the now extended deadline on this particular compo, however I will poll your opinions and abide by them in future.

I haven't had much chance with the weather and work to get many images for this, so here's one that's a few months old.

Salford's original town hall, built in the 18th century, sans Transit van.

I have decided. there will be a one off amendment to the rules: the compo is extended to the second (2nd) of November. EVERYONE gets an extra pic entry, bringing the total entries you may have to four (4), if you so desire.

This is a one-off amendment!

I think these are all truly excellent shots, but am I the only one feeling that there is a saturation of 'close-up oblique shots of buildings' so far?

That's possibly because most interesting buildings are in cities, and most of them are difficult to capture without the correct equipment.

Ok i finally got my butt out on the road to go and retake some snaps that i took before and also to take some new pictures.

I ran out of batteries after the retakes of the Star Wars building tonight but i got a whole heap of awesome pictures tonight.

Thanks for all your patience and i hope it has been worth the wait.

The middle picture is taken at the venue of the Tribeca Film Festival. The second is the view of the Business District at night - great buildings - and the first is off course my favourite building currently in Qatar - Star Wars - Al Hitmee Building.
