Really like that a lot Milou, I knew that one would be an entry ;)

Here's my first, The Armadillo on Glasgow's Clyde and it's associated bridge.

*shakes fist* Leave it out, it's very much down to personal taste, if you don't like someone's shot then don't vote for it :).

You're damn right! I think we need a handicap for you! ;)

All those in favour for milou taking shots with his eyes shut, say aye?

That shot is actually one of my all time favs of yours, makes me want to get to Italy asap.

I knew as soon as this topic came up we'd get a raft of reflections.

How long will this be open for? I'm off to Hong Kong on Sunday, might be able to get some pics taken there (I'll have net access over there) with my shiny new camera

Love it! You put a knight and some peasants in that photo and could be like a glance to the 12th century

About as recent as the architecture gets around here.

TBH i was hoping you that we would see a bit more than just modern office buildings in this competition. I like it a lot and hope to see more stuff from the killer photographers on here in the coming days.

Let's have a few (old ones):

1 - Shade

2 - Faceless Eyes - I love the way this (now ex) building reminds me of 80s/90s gaming.

3 - Rottingdean Windmill

The photograph of the Windmill is lovely Wazz. Although the top right is slightly distracting :p Oh and use less compression!

#2 "Architect this"

Rocamadour, France. A town literally crafted into the side of a sheer cliff.

I dislike it when this page takes more than 30-60 seconds to load :p

This was the best they could get?

I don't like the Skye shot, the sloping horizon is a distraction and the colours give me a headache. I also don't like like the distraction of the highlights in the Cumbria shot. The Rannoch Moor (actually a shot of Buachaille Etive Mor) shot has been taken thousands of times (including me) from that angle, nothing new, that great or original about it.

Some pictures I took in Hong Kong last week I think fit this competition:
#1 I like this for a mix of old (St John's Cathedral) and new (Cheung Kong Centre, Bank of China Tower and Citibank tower), I'm just annoyed I missed the top of Citibank Tower, only just noticed that now :(

#2 The Lippo Centre (centre), with Bank of China Tower on the left, and Citibank tower on the right:

I just wish I'd had a tripod with me, my pictures of The Symphony of Lights would've come out so much better :(
