Welcome to the Photocomp number 14 judgement thread! Comp #14's topic was landscape.

Please declare your vote in a clear manner, eg, <user> - <pic number> (seriously)

If there is a need for discussion of any kind other than photo-technical, please use a different thread for that.

Voting may continue until Sunday 21:00 CET, or until a clear majority has been reached. In the event of a tie, I will judge.

The view at the top of my parents' road in Italy...

I took this with my Dad's Nikon D50 from the top of their road.

Keswick, Lake District.

The best vantage point was right in front but that entailed tripod shadows. The light's a little muted as this was the last of the sun breaking through the cloud cover beyond the hills way over to my right.

[1/25 sec @ f/16 - 17mm polariser and maybe 0.6 ND grad - can't remember]

Ooosht I think this is in vain, Milou's pic is awesome, but I'll start with this anyway.

View toward Port Roestan County Antrim (this is the bay just to the right of the Giant's Causeway).

Well the weather was incredibly shit today, which was annoying especially as I went out just to get some pics. So here is an incredibly shit shot.

i dont think its the best image in the world
but i really like the cloudline, sharpness of the rocks in the foreground and the texture of the hills down below

Old one. (I've climbed this - although getting back down was more of a problem!)

A dip into the archives with a slight duotone applied. Jungfrau region, Switzerland.

Ooo oo ooo - this is sooo tough!

Great entries folks - I'm in awe of the skills on display here ... I'm going to go with Da Gaffer's mountains, though as I have said, very hard choice!

I'll go for DaGaffer's County Antrim pic - Milou's mountain pic has blown-out highlights, and considering he has high standards that's a markdown in my book :)

Gaffs mountain pic. Incidentally, it reminds me of Batman Begins.
