# 1 - The Wedding

My sister got married a few weeks ago and I volunteered to do the photos. Here is one from the set:

Just a snap, and I'm determined to do a 'proper' entry to one of these comps at some point, but here's a shot I took of my daughter a while ago.

I haven't been arsed to frame this one.

From about a year ago, this is one of our rats, Spor, who sadly had to be put down this time last week due to a rather large tumour.

#2 - Myself.

Shot in a mirror, flipped so the writing isn't back to front. ISO 1600 to give a film-like look akin to Neopan 1600.

Fucking cat.

This is why keeping a cat and sound equipment together isn't a good idea. The cat regularly catches mice, it must have caught one when the windshield was off the mic. The mouse then legged it into the windshield, got stuck, and died. I then put the shield back on the mic, and lent it to a friend for a job. I realised something wasn't right when I got it back, the shield reeked. This is what I found inside. The shield is split on purpose, that's where the Rycote clip holds the mic.

I'll use the topic I've kept in mind the whole time these FH comps have been running, and since we're coming up to a lovely weekend I choose Summer as the latest theme.

It's pretty open to interpretation and I'm sure people will have existing shots they like or be able to take something that fits it since the weather is turning to rather nice.
