WoW is wank. Maybe it would get better during the higher levels but its more of a fucking grind fest than DAoC. DAoC exp was much more fun, you didn't HAVE to quest in DAoC to earn EXP. In WOW you have to quest due to killing mobs is wank exp.

At level 15 i kill 1 mob for 0.5% exp. What a crock of shite.


DAOC > WOW by far, in my personal opinion. DAoC PvP > all, daoc exp > all.

10 million people seem to like WoW though. lawl

I do agree.

But DAoC just doesnt have the players to make it worth playing anymore, if u would have said DAOC as it was 4 years ago, many people would still be playing.

Its just been killed off, WoW actually has people playing that aren't the last soloers of the realm.

There was 1700 people on US Classic last night. Not great by any means, but enough to still make it worthwhile.

yeah, but divide it by 3 realms, 560 people odd, 1/4 of them are buffbots, 1/4 them are probably in pve, that makes about 250 people a realm in rvr as a rough guess.

Atleast in DAoC you could group together with good classes combined totally own shit. In WoW who needs a group to quest, it makes it harder if your grouped tbh.

You dont need a group, but the endgame is 10x better than the leveling system.

Leveling is the most boring bit imo

It's no fun if you keep looking at the xp bar, but more importantly its worse if you have no mates on there.

pvp is pretty fun in the BG's because there are so many kids with no clue about their class, you can pwn them even tho your gear is not as good.

I would really suggest playing WoW with a mate the first time through, it makes the game really shine, the 1-60(and now 70) experience the first time is one of the best you can get in an MMO tbh.

Trust me on this one, I've played everything from Everquest, to Asherons Call, to Starwars Galaxies, DAoC, Eve, AoC and even WAR and I would give alot to be able to experience it again with a fresh mind

Nah not expensive since SI/TOA/Catas is free on US servers (I think)

You dont need Darkness Rising and Labrynth of the Minotaur tbh, its nice to have them but not a necesity(sp)
