I have two options now: create a competition that is a free-for-all type, or a controlled one.

FFA meaning that you enter with your fave brute regardless of power/weaps/pets, and good old Mr Random determines who you fight. Easy, though some may get pwned right away.

Controlled means *everyone* rolls a new brute, and and good old Mr Random determines who you fight. Hard, though everyone is as equal as the mybrute site decides to make it.

Discuss and poll your tushes off....

well taB, I am thinking that there is going to have to be a double-ladder thing going on so everyone gets a chance to play. That also means that there is no insta-knockout, so potentially you may have to play several games to declare a winner.

eg, tab plays tdc | tdc plays tab. each game results in a win or a loss, the total results in a win or a tie. win=winner advances, tie is games go again until winner is declared.

this could be quite awesome, however you would have to be willing to not play your char against anyone else while the tournament is running.


edit: if there are no ties, it will take three games to reach a winner with 8 entrants. imo a tie will only make the game more exciting, as will more entrants
