Again, it's not with just about everything. You only notice it when i do. If you check up on the cuontless of threads around, you'd notice that i'm not that bad

Also, if you look at EVERY thread in the past, say, 6 months where people do get annoyed, you'll notice that not once, not one time, have i started the "toht is x" discussion. When someone claims that i'm something i'm not, ofcourse i'll defend on it. But before someone brings out the classic lines of insult, i'm keeping on the topic.

To be fair mate, the Toh is x is all in your head.

As an example and I don't want to go deep with it because I can't be arsed! In the God thread a couple of months ago you came out with an opinion/theory about god which pretty much using your own explanation was effectively a Placebo effect. Someone commented on this being a Placebo and you argued that it wasn't anything like it, when the reality was that it was exactly like it. Having an opinion is fine and backing it up is also fine, but you can't just back things up with well it's my opinion, (which you think is a safety net in every chat)

Anybody can rip an example out of their arse and that god thread has nothing to do with it as it's again, you said i said.

Oh and one mroe thing, which i've mentioned countless times;

The difference in how i see things has a lot to do with the country you're from.

When i for example talk about texting and driving with people around finland, they tend not to rip my head off.

When i mention some god debacle to a swede, they tend to discuss it and we have a nice chat.

When i mention that there's a bug in my window to a brit? Hooo boy, i shouldn't have said that.

If we take a look at all the problem threads, it's very rare to find that the problem is with me and another scandic for example.

The problem with accepting different views as just different views, that's all britannia

For example what Everz there just said; i think it's supposed to be an insult, but to me it's "Hmm, why?".

And you can't ignore the fact that there's a real listening problem with you guys at times. It seems you only cherrypick one line from every post, then concentrate fire on that. Everything else is a blur. Also explaining things seems to be a major issue, seems like you should know every detail and share every single databit of info RIGHT NOW or never say anything to clarify.

Just the other day there was a thread where ford pretty much said same exact things i did, he got a discussion, i got generic bullcrap.

Threads get f*cked up when people make it about something outside the thread discussion, i don't do that.

I don't give two hoots about how you think about me for example, you're hardly part of my life adn you've said so stupid things that i doubt you ever will(like "you don't know if you want children" etc ), but i do mind when people ruin a perfectly nice discussion with...*waves hand at thread*...this!

I've accpeted blame on many occasiosn, but can you honestly point out one occasion when people accept any blame at all?

I think you'll find they avoid those posts/lines very well and concentrate on, well, like you did last post

Sorry but when I have a chat with someone I remember what they said and when they said it. Everyone seems to have this picture in their head, about some evil argumentative thing that invades every thread and every place. When infact, it's one guy who just happens to have different opinions.

You only notice the BIIIIIIIG threads that have strong views in them, which ofcourse will clash.

It's not "toht vs 6 billion people", it's "toht isn't agreeing with 10 uk people"

I'm a bit appalled by some of the responses in this thread if I am honest.

I don't care if Toht started a thread saying it was ok to poor lighter fuel on your trousers while playing with matches and flying a plane. He has an opinion and he is entitled to it as everyone else is entitled to theirs, but for some reason a lot of you seems to take it really personally. I genuinely don't understand why.

Toht derails threads, massively, all the time. Usually by picking some obscure argument or POV and then continually hammering it, shouting louder and louder until people lose all other threads of the thread. It draws people into arguing it because the view is usually so bizarre they feel compelled. His 10 posts per minute posting style drowns out other posts.

Bahu, you've taken some banter in the HP thread completely out of context as well. I saw your first post defending Toht in that thread, it was completely unnecessary, he got the same treatment anyone would for missing a joke, the only reason it carried on so long is that he refused to just accept it.

Ford / Bahu: There is clearly a large a growing camp who don't respect Toht's posting style, so ask yourselves if you really believe Toht does not go out to frustrate on purpose, because the majority of active posters on general and OT seem to think he does...

I don't actually care if he offers different opinions, that is not the issue. It's his relentless style of pushing his point across. Bahu you mentioned people warping and taking Toht's posts out of context, that made me laugh in real life, suberb irony.

the HP thread - because he didn't let it go. In a social environment, if you take the piss out of someone and they react, you are more likely to continue having a dig at them -not in a nasty way, it's just how banter works. If they laugh with you, and accept the joke, you move on.

There is a difference between getting your point across and needing to be the loudest voice and get the final word in every time.
