It is supposed to be a good game although you shouldn't have to pay for it. You already pay like 60.00 on the game. Should FFX be charged? I think because of this, socom will gain tons of hype.:twak:

well it is true. that ffxi will lose hype bcuz of its crackassed pay to play scheme i think you should be the one laying off the crack. propably half of you dont even have jobs.

no people don't want all the cutscenes and crap. just some good ole gameplay. Imagine if you were playing Diablo 2 ex pack online and you killed someone. then there is this fat ass cutscene. and it keeps on happening and happening again. hell, you wouldn't like that. because everytime you kill something annother cinematic appears. eventually your gonna get fed up to high heaven. Now i love the ff series but have you realized that there is barely any gameplay because of all of the damn cutscenes. that is why i like mgs2 more because there are plot setting cutscenes but there is a lot of gameplay. :clap:

I have about a good 24 massively multiplayer games 10 of which are mmorpgs..... moron

But honestly you guys, are we going to argue about wheather or not there should be cinematics in the games. Sar, i never said that there should be or would be, but that if there was, the game would be really screwy. But here is a question, FFXI is pay to play, but I wonder if they will have the same thing for the Personal Computer. If any of you guys DONT know, FFXI is also going to be on the PC. But will it be pay to play? Do you think it could possibly influence square to change their plans? do you think FFXI should be pay to play but with certain features that only paying members get? well yes, and no. (at least for me) I believe that people that pay money most well deserve to be rewarded but if people don't want to play they should not have special features that people that pay have.

ALSO, this is the internet! you don't have to completely spell out words! will somebody just talk about final fantasy XI and not about how I spells. Actually I am a four time spelling BEE champ and get A's on my book reviews. Now if yiu don't mind, read the posts and reply with posts that are relevant to the topic moron.

In case you guys haven't realized yet, A message board is supposed to represent a community, a safehaven where you can talk about stuff and not worry about getteng dissed not waiting to get dissed. Look, I don't mean to sound stupid, retarted, or crazy, but if I cannot post my opinion without being dissed about an average maybe 5+ times a day, then barry's world ain't that great when to a visitor it looks like bliss.

I know, I saw it one day and the links didn't work But I am giving my site a new facelift. Plus I need to put up some text. But also the reason why my site isn't really updated is because I am looking for a host that supports PHP scripting.

I also know that this is a game console board but I don't kwow of anywhere else on barrysworld where to put my thread. So I decided to put it here.

By the way do you think you are going to play FFXI wih a keyboard. And I am also kind of curious if you can play it with a mouse on the PS2.

i most likely will play with a keyboard to type commands at a faster pace like /greet/ for example of /smack/.

yea I got interested in third grade. A woman that worked with netscape taught me how to make pictures. then in fifth grade I took a class on web developing at my dad's job I taught my freind jadeson, in the sixth grade. Now I am making a webpage that has no text, the Links were working but are now screwed up, and I am updateing it as we speak. and yes I can spell just most of the time I try to practice my typing skills but sometimes the words get really screwed up. Hopefully my webpage will be up at around 12:00 eastern time. And yes I am american.
