monitor broke last week, ordered a new one, its been dispatched today.

so guess when it will arrive.

Hah, talk to Kenny. He ordered something computery a fortnight ago and it still hasn't shown up. I expect I'll get a phone call some day soon to pick him up from the police station after he storms down there naked apart from mud, weilding a stick and fruity language and demanding the head of whoever is responsible.

I ordered a washing machine from Littlewoods that was meant to be delivered within a week, that took six weeks. I'd phone people up every day and make them hyperventilate on the phone. I ended up getting £40 off the price, but I still got primative over it all.

Find a better hardware supplier

We use http://www.cms-computers.co.uk for work and I get most of my personal stuff through them, its trade prices but we still have to pay VAT obviously. They deliver next day ALWAYS before midday if they have the stock (which they usually do).

I have an old 15inch monitor that I was going to throw out but one night when I was playing TFC something made me laugh so much I spat red wine all over my new monitor and it went crazy. I had to take the back off and mop up the wine that had seeped in and leave it over night to dry; but could still carry on playing with my old small monitor. I'm going to keep the old one now just in case, you never know
