Well thats nice..changing passwords for everyone.

If that is true then this is the end for me. :( I got my account from someone a v.long time ago and i hardly knew him. when my subscription runs out i wont be able to renew it.
My account is still registerd on his e-mail.

I guess this is good bye for me and manny others. :(
I really hate goa.. they must be the worse server managers in history.
I hope they send the subscription info to my own e-mail, i will request it.

what about everyone who has automatic renewal payment and want it to stop?.. they cant, they will have to cut their credit cards.

This is so seriously fooked.. I giess about 400+ players have this problem now.. will goa just ignore that and loose all those players?.

I bet you wont be smiling when you realize that some of your in-game friends traded their account or doesn't have their old e-mail anymore.

Im very happy about this cause now I will have my account alone :D

And why havent u changed the email??

I can even use my other account i got from somewhere (a very scammed account) cause its in my email and my account but i couldnt really have it alone :)

When u trade an account the first thing u do is change email and create a new password...
So y are account traders fucked???

Well I didnt think about it much when my mailprovider closed down tbh. I had the information I needed (sub login + pass and game login + pass) for my 2 accounts. Now when the servers are down I cant change my email, and if they change sub login before they go up again im screwed. So my options would be to get in touch with goa customer support or if that doesnt work out.. /quit

Surely im not the only one with this problem.

I dont have access to my hotmail acc, cause it was destroyed cause I didnt use it. I´ve never needed any mails from goa since I´ve kept my passes in my tables boxes here.

Because by all *accounts* (no pun intended) you cannot change the registration ie: subscription PW/details (other than cc). One reason why anyone buying/trading Euro-Camelot acts runs a risk of having their toon stripped/deleted at any time by the *original* owner/s, unlike US acts which are covered by a secret word, got the SW act is safe, dont have it, your fooked.

So, if someone who owned an act at any time has the subscription pw (which GOA point blank refused to allow users to change), in the last few days, they *could* have logged into that subs page and entered a new email and viola, within the next 24hrs that guy can have his original act back.

Or, something along those lines ...

Nice way to clear alot of traders though :(

No didnt think so...

I would be very happy if I got my original account back :D

Ok. Basically...all you people who don't have hotmail account anymore, just wait till RightNow is back up, and send them an email. A while back, my bro cancelled his subscription and a few weeks later he wanted to reopen his account. The only problem was he kept his sub login/pass on an email on an old hotmail account. Now you may or may not know, but when you reactivate a hotmail account you lose all the emails you had on. This meant he could not reactive his account. So anyways, he sent an email to RightNow, they sent him an email with new sub pass/login on it. I'm sure they will do the same here as many people have the same problem.

u trade account? u go change email, cos ofc, u dont trade account without getting the subscription password. its ur trade, ur responsibility, not goa or myhtic.

and thb, u can only partly blame mythic. any1 can get hacked, mythic is no exception. it would cost a fortune to get a security system that can keep out a hacker determined enough. some of the best systems in the world have been hacked, so what makes u think it shouldnt be possible here.

sorry to u its happened to, but u really have none else to blame for it than urself :(

You can definately change the email address... and some other details, just not the sub pass. So yes if someone who sold an account *knew* this was going to happen, then they could have stolen their old account back. But since no one really knew that, then it's not exactly going to happen is it?

Account traders should be able to get their accounts back by providing some details, but you're really silly if you bought an account and didn't change the email address to your own.

Do you really think GOA is going to turn away paying customers, especially if their email has just changed? I doubt it. You will just have to wait a loooooooong time to get it fixed :p
