Few thoughts about CS farming

After losing few keep to albs because of those necros I've thought about few things to consider why we lost:

1) too many keeps. 1-2 keeps is good, we aren't enough to defend all 3-4. we CAN defend those keeps whit 100+ mids even there's those necros.

2) don't stay inside yard. When infils kill players whit x-bows something is wrong. Remember what happened at Rena when mids where hiding at yard

3) fight on walls or outside. We need to secure walls from infils. SBs and SMs who pbaoe are good. Get shammys to AE dot and RMs to AE & GTAoE. We need to keep those necros far enough.I think people remember first big fight at Boldiam, it was outside keep, and Mids won that !!!

4) Leadership. We need strong leader who tells when to charge. And where to go defend.

In a nutshell: only 1-2 keeps, secure walls and keep fights outside, and strong leadership.
Some people said that Killgorde was strong leader, maybe it's some1 elses time to give straight orders. We can not be scatter that bad.

I hope some comments on this.

Its possible only if we avoid the infils coming up the walls to get ground targets for their gtaoe mages, so maybe its an idea to let a RM or two gtaoe the walls to uncover infils?

Also, the tank classes should bring trebs or at least ammo for them. Despite a 30sec arm time, they do massive damage, and are a good addition to the RC RM's.
(Ammo can be bought in Svasud at page2 of the medallion merchant)

But really, it'll require massive amounts of healing power. Hard to imagine how much. =)

Was nice Boldiam defence Mid got new toy - da CS. Albs got megafermed... And... CS is the way your buffbot can realy growe up in RPs

I newer rezzed soo much from the beginnin of DAOC. Leached about 7K 4 rez only with my healer in about 1 hour. Rez, rez (oom), MCL, rez, PR, wait 30 sec 4 manaregen, rez, rez...

Just a pointer to help you out a bit....

It's casting AE that gives the necros their targets. If you hit a necro, you're gonna get nuked no matter where you are. If you hit 2 or 3 you are kinda doomed


So errr, stop casting AE at keep defenses and all will go well

so hav is it that my shaman in the middle of the keep dies to a necro??

Without aoe in a keep defense, whats left to defend with? heh

So what we need to do is stand in the courtyard and single target nuke the infils crawling up on the walls? weehoo
