Is their a low level pve instance, akin to Ragefire Chasm/ Mithra on destruction side we can do in this beta ?

Im level 10, and just got hit for 520 damage by the fireball casting class ( what ever it is). This seems a bit insane...anyone got any silly crits to report ?

I havent seen anything like that in warhammer. I do not believe warhammer is going to add anything like that, as this game is going for rvr ( pvp ) just as much as wow is going for instance running and pve content, so at best I would say that the public quest system is the closest you will get to an wowlike instance. Remember, warhammer is not some wowclone, ist a game made years before blizzard started thinking about makeing games.

Yes, again, spellcasters in warhammer do actually hurt, as they did in wow before burning crusade made wow into a mail/plate rules all game. Chances are that it is a long cast spell, and if you use the terrain to move in and out of line of sight you will be able to avoid most of these heavydamage attacks from spellcaster, warhammer is not a "point, click macro, loot".... game. Gear and build is not that important in warhammer, how you play can actually make a difference here. ( I am not saying that you cant play, just that we need to forget the way we played in wow, and yes I loved that game for the 2½ years I played it, I played warlock and since we got nerfed in every patch from 2.0 and forward I gave up this may. )
So I hope you will like warhammer in time, and I hope you (as me) start to like how much different it is from wow.

Hmm, ever heard of a board game called warhammer? it started somewhere in the 1980'ies, I think blizzard was started around 1995 or close around that....

Well, after playing warlock/mage/priest/hunter/rogue for 2½ years in wow, and seeing the patches change pvp to making plate/mail stronger and stronger with every whine post on blizzards forums, I would say that balance in pvp is a joke in wow, a lvl 66 hunter in greens can take a lvl 70 warlock in purples any time, so your point was? ( mine was the lack of balance )
And cool, I didnt know there was an instance in the city, nice to know.

warhammer is a role playing game in the d&d style, also a table top war game with ickle models for armies.

oh ic....your a pve player, with zero resil & u got pwned (somehow) by a 66 hunter - so u quit. every time u whine about wow pvp or wow at all im gonna be their to caution you of the drivel coming out of your mouth, so please be warned.

you have obviously not played wow since BC, so plze, stop digging your hole.

1. is there any low level instances in the game? i havnt seen any so far.. perhaps ive missed something. (i think they may add some form of instance to the game at some point, because if you go into the social panel there is a LFG tickbox for instances)

2. it could have been a bright wizard with mage bolt... it's a rank 1 moral ability that does 370 ish i think damage so if it crit you might have been hit for that much.

As posted before, in the Capitol citys are instanced PvE zoones...oh and dont open barrels in Altdorf unless you lvl 20

Hehe there's a barrel in the Inevitable City with a surprised Nurgling in it. You get a title if you find and fight it

There are dungeons in the capital cities and also in tier 3, I believe. Couple of them mentioned in a news thingy on WAR-Europe (though it may just have been Warhammeronline.com).

Yeah went there with my engineer, got smacked to bits. Will try with a runie, took out a hero of equal level yesterday.
