Well what would you have folks, money no object. We're only talking supercars here so none of your faggy Astons or Porsches thanks, altho I might allow the odd Pagani or Koenigseggeggeggegg post.

edit// I'd go for a Fezza. As gloriously OTT Lambos are, Ferraris just seem that bit more focused on going ridiculously quickly and not crashing. Whilst I do a sex wee every time I see a Murcielago, they really don't compare to the noise and spectacle of seeing an F40 up close. I did on Friday at the petrol station and my heart still hasn't recovered.

I'd have a 599 over a Murcielago (a bit less 'chest wig') but I'd have a Gallardo over a 430. I know the Ferrari is probably a better car, but I just prefer the looks of the Gallardo; in black with black wheels please.

Edit: I just saw Flavio Briatore outside Harrods. He drives a Maybach. Tasteless twat.

He was actually driving it? With a car like that, surely you'd want to be chauffeur driven!

I like the lambo, but they're now putting the engine in the Audi A8 which devalues it imo.

If you had a Ferrari 360 only to find they put the engine from it in a "lesser" car, would it devalue the Ferza for you?

Well, they put the engine from a Ferrari 328 into a Lancia and it didn't devalue the Ferrari for me (still one of the best looking Ferraris ever, and the same basic engine went into the 288GTO). I don't think you can judge modern cars that way; the Aston's V12 is two Ford V6 Duratecs welded together and the Lambo engine in the A8 is pretty different from the Lambo one anyway.

Dunno, he was putting something in the boot when I saw him. Didn't see a chauffeur hanging around.

Maranello please. Mayhaps not the most attractive of them but by no means ugly and sound fucking incredible.

Depends which Lambo. The older ones are apparently a bit too butch for everyday use.

Basically, any supercar is a bit silly for everyday use. If I had to choose though, it would be a Lambo just to be different.

And if it was neither of those marques, I think I'd have me a Pagani Zonda S thanks :)

Ugh, if I had the money, I'd go for an original Ford GT40 which retail for about £1,000,000. Or a Koenigsegg CCX, or an F40 purely because the value of one of those actually appreciates. :)

Zonda's and Enzo's are puke though.

Would a Lamborghini Muira count? A bit of class, an old skool super car. :)

Kind of depends if you want a supercar to drive or just sit in a vault appreciating. The original GT40 and Muira are very pretty but I bet they're horrible to drive by modern standards.

Despite Bodhi's prohibitions on Porsches and Astons, I think if I could have one supercar to drive it would be this:

The Enzo's probably a better driver's car but I prefer the looks of this and it sounds incredible.

The XJ220 wasn't even an option tardo, mainly as it's a big pile of shite. I like my supercars to be able to stop and go round corners, neither of which I;d trust the Jag to do - mainly as it's the size of a small house. What's the matter, couldn't afford an F40?

Allesandro De Tomaso was an Argentinian and the Pantera had a Ford engine. Maserati spent the seventies being owned by the French (Citroen) and the eighties by said Argentinian. Next!

I'd expect the chassis to warp, not just from rain but from heat as well. It'd probably break after a year. :)

Morgans are made from wood, but only the chassis, and they ain't supercars either.

I'd still love to have one though.

Out of the voting 2, the ferarri any day of the week. It's a proper marque, whereas Lambo on the other hand is more of a "boys toy". There are many Ferarris dating back many years which would be a joy to own.

Of course with that amount of money in the pocket I'd rather own a fleet of Elises/Exiges and host race days - far more fun :D
