I've played 2 members of team UK, and I have to say that if that all the team are of a similar standard then I am ashamed.

My Old CL was female, and was around my standard, and tbh would kick any of those lots arses ( and would have applied had she not been on 56k whilst she's moving house ).


There are some damn good female gamers in the UK, its a shame Team.UK Girls didnt attract a bit more publicity, but the Seperation of a Girls/Boys team is like admitting theres a differential in skill levels, or that girls are naturally worse than the boys.

I have to say though, that the 2 I know are not the usual attention seeking gaming girls like Kitana etc, and are nice friendly people, who play for fun.

Its not like Team.UK is sexist in anyway, its just that the majority of the gamers are guys, I really feel like splitting it into a male/female type sport can only be detrimental.

but lets not take this off the topic at hand which is Girls... well playing like Girls... :p

Most of the Girls ive played with (In CS you dirty h0ebags) they all good, and dont go for the "im a girl, let me kill you...", then there is Girls like Lara... who kill you if your on the same team as her ;)

Kat for a start is far superior to you, so don't even go there.

Their is a female team because there is a female CB nations cup, its not sexist, its clanbases decision.

1. hah. ask kat herself, I've played with her a few times, more than i've played with you.

2. So because its clanbases decision its not sexist?

What if clanbase proclaimed a cup for blacks, chinese, whites, and split all the races?

Tbh i try bringing up a reasonable point that unless CB sees some differential in the inate skill level between male and female gamers then this cup shouldnt exist.

Agree/Disagree, and explain why, dont bash me or my opinion just because you dont like me.


EDIT: Hmm maybe i should have called it Clanbase: Sexist

My point still stands, that this whole competition is promoting the inferiority of female gamers.

Kat is better than about 80% of the people on this Forum i think she definatly stands out as being on of the best.

Why is it promoting inferiority? Did you ever think that the person who set-it up at clanbase simply thought that other women may want to compete against each other?

I have played with you lods of times ECA, I hardly ever use my normal name, an old habit from perevious months of being pestered by people wanting admin and spying on cheaters.

....I feel ECA raised some good points, I also feel he wasn't having a go at the lady players, yes its been raised before but its all good for giving them some publicity.

Kat is an awesome player, not because shes female, not because I want to "do her" , shes just good, like Jobbie is good.

She scares me:(
