I started a female char in WoW(yes i play that too), just because i've RP'd ladies before(it's a roleplayer thing, from FFRP really) and because it's much more fun to watch a female elf on screen as opposed to the 70's porn mustache wielding elf male i made

But, to the point, it couldn't be more then 15 minutes before i had the following:

A level 40 sword.
15 gold.
Full set of level 10-20 armor.

And the real kicker...

A guild.

A guy just stopped me and asked if i wanted a guild, said "sure" and tadaa, was the proud leader of a 4 person guild

(I did give it all to another person i met, since i wanted to rp the char as a "non helped" one. Purist style, diablo 1)

Uh... I played Ravenshield (FPS) with a clan, pretending to be a girl since I thought it's funny that a lot of gamers think I am female only because I play as Sally (Sally Shears aka Molly Millions is a protagonist from Neuromancer by William Gibson who/which I am a fan of).

They didn't believe me and asked me to speak on Ventrilo so I let my girl friend talk to them ^^.

Obviously they haven't been as geeky and horny as you a lot and didn't make any propositions or offered "help". After a year or so I told them that I am male and started to talk by myself there. It was a shock for them but I got invited to the clan nevertheless .

IT's not about being horny though.

Well, to some silly buggers it is.

But mostly it's because us males want to have more females in our games, just to mix the crowd up and make it more social.

So when we see a woman ingame, we give stuff in hopes that it makes her happy hap hap and tells her friends how much fun she had, then, we get more women and it spreads like wildfire.

This, is how i think it is anyway. So if any scientist comes up with that, i want my due share
