I don't know all of the above, but he applied to LoE the same way as other people. I got good feedback from existing LoE members as well as from some current Rigante people regarding Heffer, and after a long chat over MSN with him invited him into the guild.
As with any member, their behaviour and attitude within the guild determines if they stay. In this he's treated the same as anyone else.
