I know we have these lame-ass "what's your favourite X" posts all the time, but I wanted to share a couple of singers/songs and I thought it'd be fun to get some ideas from other people.

My two favourite singers at the moment are;

Chris Cornell (Soundgarden, Audioslave)

and

Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge, Mayfield Four)

If you want to hear more from these guys, you need to "buy" the albums Carry On (Chris Cornell) and One Day Remains (Alter Bridge). These guys are seriously amazing.

What do you guys think and what do you like at the moment?

EDIT: Any WWE fans might know Alter Bridge as the band who did the entrance music for Edge. Track's called Metallingus.

Not so sure about that Billie Jean copy.

I always felt it was best done w/ a fast tempo.

i know he sounds like a whiny american teen singing through a kazoo from his nose, but i still love it for some reason. :p

I agree with you Dave on Danzig. Although I prefer these vocals from Danzig, YouTube - The Misfits American Nightmare

Theres something about Tim armstrongs voice which had me addicted when I first heard.

And ofc, the famous deep voice of Johnny Cash.

Mey, luv that song. The lyrics are amazing, a true legend of a man spilling his soul. Brought a tear to my eye.

+1
