Who is your favourite footie player. Excluding Geordies of course. A 100 % vote for wor Al just aint fare. My favourite player was Mark Hughes. As as UTD fan it would be easy to say Cantona. Despite his arogance he was probably in the top 5 imports to the premiership.

Hughsie was vastly underated player in a very very average side Utd side. His game was all about power commitment and a never say die attitude. Some would say he never scored enough goals. He always scored in te vital matches though. Leeds, Liverpool, City et al

Jan Age Fjortoft or Fraser Digby. If Jan had have started scoring earlier when we were in the Premiership and Gorman had of stuck with Digby and Digby was fully fit, perhaps we wouldn't have gone down.
