We just rented Freaks and Geeks, which is really old, but we found funny.

The Office (USA) is funny to me but I think you have to work in an office to find it funny.

Only one atm....Little Britain.

You should be shot for such a statement,

Nothing beats the classics for pure comedy:
Red Dwarf, Blackadder, Fawlty Towers, The Fast Show, Monty Pythons Flying Circus (Or any movie),Police Squad And more recently: Scrubs, Spaced, Peter Kays Phoenix Nights, ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT!!!! The Office, The League of Gentlemen are all great comedies for me anyway

Film wise I'd go;
Anchorman (Or anything involving Will Ferrel :p)
Zoolander
Supertroopers (Underrated imo!)
Monty Pythons!
The Naked Guns (I love em!)
and many more :e

Fat comicbook guy from Simpsons?

And if you want a comedy, I'd say Scrubs as it's on it's sixth season and it's still hilarious! :worthy:

if she's clinically depressed, tv shows arn't going to help... or if she's just lost a family member for egsample... this wont help

however, as im sure you know females are rather moody at there time of the month... just wait a while and it should sort it out

the best thing you can do atm is show her you love her and learn when to leave her alone

Get her the Alan Partridge box set. No other comedy comes close.

Apart from that, try Shameless. Although its actually a drama, its still funnier than anything on TV in the past 5 years

She has been diagnosed with a neurological illness so anything that can make her happy/take her mind of the situation I am willing to try.

I had totally forgot about "whose line is it anyway" awsome show, will try to get hold of it :)

thanks for all the replies keep em coming :D

Remember to get the us version. From what I've heard the UK one sucks. I haven't seen it myself though.

still, it will only be very short lived

though, that said, im not a neurologist... and im not sure making her watch comedy's will help at all, though a nice gesture:)

i hope she gets better soon:)
