I'd have to go for a black lab. As soon as I get out of my current living situation and go off to join the RAF, I'll get myself one.

You will have less time when you are in the RAF to look after a dog .

Na, I'll have plenty of time - will only be a deskjob, and it can come and sit in my office :D

I know of pilots who have one, they live in the Officers mess with them - as long as they dont run onto an active runway - no one minds

Fave dogs are Rotties and GSDs.........currently have the best of both worlds as we have a Rottie cross GSD. She's totally adorable, lovable, affectionate and a total minx.:D

She has a bad habit of either nibbling my toes as i walk down the stairs or trying to swipe my feet from beneath me.

/Me thinks she's trying to kill me off :(

I want a pair of White wolves like Diefenbaker from Due South when I'm older and wealthy.

I read it was a cross between an arctic wolf, siberian husky and malamute or something :eek7:

Tough choice. Have a GSD and a mongrel (mainly staff/Collie). The mongrel is intelligent. GSDs as a breed are clever, mine is a bit thick though tbh. Both lovely dogs (although the GSD isn't as affectionate).

St. Bernard tbh. I want a dog that could take me in a fight, but is far to lazy to bother.

My woofer, a Flat Coated Retriever.

She closed her eyes on purpose when I took the picture, she's obviously not as stupid as she looks.

This is our fourth one, and they are all uniquely friendly and bouncy and playful in their own ways. A really good family pet breed of dog.

This particular one is the worst gun dog I've ever seen though. They were originally bred for retrieving waterfowl, (they have webbed feet for instance), this one can barely swim and is afraid of bangs

Still, a much loved pet though.
