Fave Simpsons character

Since the general consensus is the we love The Simpson's I though it might be nice if we ran through our fave characters and why we like em.

I'll go for Kang and Kodos. They just have the best sketches. My fav must have been the Clinton vs Dole election where they ran instead and noone noticed them just using meaningless phrases filled with political cliches:-

"The politics of failure have failed. We need to make them work again."

"We must go forwards not backwards, sideways not forwards and forever twirling, TWIRLING towards freedom !"

Having said that Bob Dole had the best line when he's in a tube in the UFO, "What is this ? Some kind of tube ?"

Another notable appearances would be the Jerry Springer show, "I have recreated the most common spawning gorunds of your species !"

And:-

Marge: "That seemed very quick."
Kang: "What are you trying to say ?"

I love loads of characters. But my all time favorites have to be:


  • Comic book guy (Worst Episode Ever!)
    Professor Frink (GLAVIN!)
    Hans Moleman (Boo-erns! Boo-erns!)
    Ralph (Bushes are nice 'cos they don't have prickers, unless they do. This one did. Ow!)
    Homer (D'oh!)

My favourite episode is Bart Vs Australia :)

I can't remember the name of the guy but it's the guy that is selling homer the big jeep car thing and his sale is taken by his boss.

he also turns up in another episode when lisa cheats on a test and the guy is selling the computers

Anyone know his name? the way he talks is hilarious! he's a scruffy kind of business man

Less complicated tho i'd go for Bart :D

His name's Gil, with a 'ger'

He's based on Jack Lemmon's character in Glen Gary, Glen Ross. He funny. :D

"Oh no! Not today, not to Gil! I could feel that sale. I was in the zone!"
