Hey guys, I haven't been playing for a couple of months, subs've run out and with no plans to renew them I've decided to retire after 4 years playing.
This game has been by far the best I've ever played, and is still the best game on the current market imo. Through the years of playing I've experienced lots of happy moments, friendships and raids, so under no circumstances do I regret starting to play this game.
However, at some point you realize that the amount of energy you put into the game istn't enough to cover the non-existant amount of fun you achieve from it. So it's time to say good-bye. I'd like to share some good ol' memories with you though!
Like, my first krondon raid with the Knights of the round table-alliance in the good old OF days when the alliance and guild had many many members:
Or when stalking around MMG in Odin's gate:
Or after waaay too much grinding, I got my very first (and only) LGM crafter:
Or, when I achieved rr7 with my cleric!
I wastn't a very hardcore RvR player, thus achieving rr7 means a great lot to me. I was an all-around gamer, I enjoyed both RvRing and PvEing with friends.
The PvEing part made me 13 lvl 50s, aka: Lightfighter (paladin) Lighthealer (Cleric) Odysse (minstrel) Harth (reaver) Advallen (theurgist) Roze (scout!!) Lightbuffer (Cleric BB) Hitomi (Shadowblade) Hardir (Savage) Renke (Shaman) Serrf (Spiritmaster) Odina (Runemaster) Odessa (Bard - classic) as well as a long series of BG1 characters such as Syw/syv.
Thanks alot to the KotrT (prydwen) in which I stayed in actively for 3 years, also thanks to Dark llama Knights and Phoenix Legion for their great hospitality. Thanks my friends, you know who you all are, for these four years!
So that's my byebye-speech, take care everyone, Lighthealer out.
