Phandaal is spot on tho. Last night whilst some retook towers in our frontier there were 110 in odin's. Kinda pointless taking relics if we cant be arsed to respond when the other guys turn up on our own doorstep.

Just my opinion, but let em take the relics back but only after a long drawn out fight

Then we can take em back again, I know its against popular opinion here but I love NF and the keep sieges / large scale combat. I enjoy the fg v fg as well, which I often encounter on the way to the tower or keep siege. Best of both worlds.

Well now you know why Herbal stopped doing RR's because after all the planning and taking of the relics the realm went back into hiding. yes the mids will prolly attack on Christmas day or New Years Day at about 5 in the morning when most ppl are just going to bed

Well I think Midgard celebrates New Year at the same time as us Albs do ... so I bet most of the DaoC-players will be drunk somewhere in the gutter or trying to 'nuke' people down with their fireworks ...


But yes, I guess the time that Mids will grab back 'their' relic will come soon, so let's make some kind of timetable ... so that at any time of the day around 200+ people are online to defend our relics

I played Lineage for a while. That was the same, exploits, macro's, ruined economy and the fun lasted one month precisely, shame because my dark elve was pretty cool.

WoW will do the same as SWG, there will be a month or two of quit posts, then they will come back with tails between their legs.

Just my opinion of course.

In 1.71 the enemy relics will be placed in frontier keeps and not in relic keeps. so it will be easier for a realm to retake any lost relic.
Also think that very soon the bounty pts for many guilds will go down and some keeps/tower will not be lvl 10. that will help the attacker for sure.
So in the future the NF and relics takes/retakes will have a lot of differences.
I Agree with most of the pple. When the enemy is in our land we should act with no delay.

Some pple left/quit/retired but not because of the last albion rr raids. The new geography of the frontier zones, the lose of the old Emain Macha (an "counterstrike" type zone), the WoW beta are some of the possible reasons.
My personal believe is that many of them will return as many did in the past ( look the swg example)

currently holding nottmoor/bledmeer is an advantage - it keeps the mids occupied and it breaks their porting chain if they should manage to get a keep and 4 towers.

That said it's not worth losing any homeland keeps for.

As long as there's enough people retaking towers in the homeland (and getting not bad RP for it now probably better than the zerg in odins for some classes) then holding onto Nottmoor is good - however we should be ready to abandon it if we start losing keeps.

when ppl dont hear and almost none come to retake our towers, or they still shooting enemys with trebs, tower with ballistas and catapults to doors its really annoying and low patient ppl like me start blaming ...

i dont blame tappi, only the albs who never help in albion defence.
tonaight we took level 10 tower 3 players, mincer, scout and theur. some ppl came to help, but they died and released. i was calling more ppls but the were to worry in odin's (no tower or keeps under attack)

tappi is one normal player like you, but he can make ppl work like a team but you cant, only that

I dont think alb are "stupid zergling" like you say, yesteday when mid taked 5 alb tower, albs work together and taked back tower in 20 minu

Wrong it wasn't anything to with albion, was the fact that i'd put alot of effort into it... Then ardramel would come calling at 8 am on a sunday claiming mids where "depressed"
