FYI, as a person who organises zergs, Garba and his group have a tendency to try steer clear of them, which is the reason I found it funny, it definatly wasn't as funny as Carlos posting a picture of Garba's zerg without Garba in it though

just backing up my statement that garb does/did indeed run in zergs at times.

And people really need to play healer before they say so much...you either chose 1 or the other....Good CC, or Good healing, the 44/30 temp balances both, but its as 'uber' as a mincer is a 'good all round tank'.

for the most part, a healer is simply a bard+druid in 1 class, but due to speccing, you need more than 1 to match thier CC and healing output.

3 healers= 1bard + 2 druids. Without Pets. Without End chant. (but omg they have insta speed break instead of insta root.)


Stun sux, any mincer or chanter will tell you that.

On the ASD thing, its really not hard to work out the difference, in a grp with enchanters, they are the soul way of doing damage in the group, if you damage dealers can't do damage then you cannot win a fight no 2 ways about it. using asd on ahealer stops them from casting, it doesn't stop them using insta heals, insta mezz/stun etc, and it also doesn't stop the damage dealers in your group working. Say for example if the asd on chanters interupted mid meelers and totally stopped them hitting anything for 5 seconds, with it being chain cast on the melee char they cannot hit anything...ever, therefore you cannot kill anything and you will more than likely lose. Thats imo the main difference between them, and also the fact no semi decent hib grp has 3 chanters in it, most mage groups have 1 for the optimal mage grp. Hope that helps you to understand the difference.

Ok honestly now,what has been proven after all those replies and counter replies (some of them pretty well put and based on facts).Who is right?I mean it has been pretty entertaining reading this thread but to what end?Have u even tried to see things from the receiving end's perspective?i mean which one of has actually played competitively for another realm apart the one,you lot so fiercfully defend?Trust me things will look alot different after u've tried that.But then again i am just a speed bot what do i know?
Everyone is more skilled and his realm mates are better even tho they are inferior when it comes to RAs,Classes etc right?

did you know that in garbs group theres usually 4 rr10/11's 2 rr9's as the base, they are probably the best played group in the game in its current state and have more experience than most people in the game, that doesn't mean xanth sucks does it?

read again what i wrote, either you just choose not to take it in or just can't take theres a difference, you could stand and heal a char all day if you wanted, if no damage is being done you will not win, if a mage is being asd spammed they cannot do damage, if a healer is being asd'd they just can't heal the damage (thats not even being taken if they use asd properly), it really has absoloutly nothing to do with how you use asd on a druid, tbh i wish every healer used it on a druid instead of a mage, we'd win a damn sight more fights if they did.

not totally true, a lot of mids acknowledge they have a big advantage atm, it the ones that think they wtfpwn because they are uber and chanters r teh 1337 and they wtfpwn them with there brand new fotm savage that need help.

dont think theres gonna be more nerfs tbh, Mackey said he wanted to nerf em more an was pissed that he couldnt due to balance etc...but they certianly wont get any love

About the fotm chanter groups, tbh, the best casters in vgn have always been the elds, tyka, memeerf etc etc, the "fotm" chanter grps consisted of 3/4 enchanters - land mezz - run in and insta kill with pbaoe, however the typical vgn setup consisted on 1 enchanter debuffing cold for the light elds and killing from range... But i guess maybe you weren't around back then to know such things and instead just jump on the bandwagon and talk about that which you know very little?

I tried to talk to Xanthian for a while, he seemed pretty reasonable for a while, then he went back to his uber-flaming-skills on BW and tbh I cba to talk to any VGN guys after you proclaimed that all in Atrocity are noobs and you are skilled because you played your class for 6 months+ and we will have no chance in 1.65.
