I have to admit i did not think of it that way.

Will be interesting to see what Offcom set as a price then then how much Sky ect mark it up :)

Not at all soze, basically ofcom have not even reduced the package wholesale prices by what they were planning to. It's only 23% for single channels, it's nearer 10% for the bundle. Sky get a much wider market as BT vision, other small tv providers, topuptv, Virgin all get to lower the price to their customers - and offer it for the first time in some cases. Sky will rake it in, they will jsut have to be more competitive with their own pricing to entice people not to jump to freesat / freeview and BT.

Also note that this is only for SD content, they still have exclusivity over their HD sports channels. And a LOT of people will want HD sport, not to mention the 3d sport coming later this year.
