Nope..i got Blademaster line..it was either the crap stuff .. or the less crap. So i use the CB+grapple thing a bit...especially if i am away from Mid (like all the time ) and the other uses ml stuff...i can only use mine sh*t ML

I said all active thanes use it, so you can assume he has it aswell. The real 'thing' with the grapple stuff is that thanes dont even really rely on CB. You can grapple a ranger as thane, and just continue to Doomhammer after u get out of the grapple-stun. Rangers cannot do *anything* during grapple (cant shoot arrows anymore) so all you need to do with Doomhammer is out-dps a ranger his DPS in the time it takes for the ranger to get out of the stun, but the thane is still stunned. Combined with insta's and the Lightning-RR5 that shouldnt be too hard.

Just fyi, as a ranger you could countered everything he droped at you. He casts? Then you run the other way and pull out the bow ( even with 12 in bow you do alot of dmg ). He comes closer, then you pop WH speed charge or pathfinding spd to get into melee range and rape him. If he slams, purge. No ranger should ever loose to a lower rr thane, you are just a crap player pork.

A well played shield tank should never loose to an archer no matter how they're specced. Shoot with bow? Engage mate. Melee? You outdamage him easily and parry quite alot aswell, still losing? IP. Still losing? Doomhammer + Grapple. -> Dead archer.

Yep thanes are a pain in the ass to kill currently - unless i put them <50% from battler debuff-come-stun-come-triple backslash i get pounded on like a 12 year choirboy in a bishops cloister...

I am not. Many r more devoted and durable to stay solo when they get zerged day in and day out. But i never did go around emoting people when i was outskilled. And tbh...i havent done a fair share of zerging/adding. I am way far behind taking on account the zerg/add i have received (not that it makes a huge diff).
The main point behind this post was to try and undestand peeps like TZ, Aim crew and many others that /laugh, /rolf, /rude ,not only me (but many others), when its them that were outnumbering or they got outskilled before.

You don't stand a chans vs a deacent thane as a ranger im a fraid they got insta shit smite as well, and cb stun + grapple gives them the dist and time to smite you down before you even get in touch of them. You can also add there rr5 on this and it's goodnight. Trying to use a low spec in bow and take down a thane on dist is just utter silly.

The usually senario is like: slam nuke abit + grapple nuke more, dump st nuke abit more.....A thane losing to a ranger can't simply play there char.

Yes you are wrong. Rangers don't use bow anymore, or I should rather say they can't, at least not if the wind is blowing, or sun is shining or night has set as they get interrupted.

Without being the expect I would expect that lighting sh** to fall into the category of interruption.
