I figured that by the fact she had to stun me then use speed hack to get out of clipping distance in ~1 second after I shot her once with short recurve.

i must admit, photon is a very good mincer, she can take out my BD, admittly she waits for me to use purge and then buggers off and comes back where i get killed because of the " i'm steathed with chain with stuns, oh and SoS just in case"

i need a buffbot to stop that from happening to me

and yes, i am whining about mincers, due to the fact that a photon is a fully buffed up, SoSing chain wearing mezzer with a stun and a haste potion without my healer pets as they are mezzed (good tactic however).

photon fights classic "advoid the enemy until he use purge, and pray that a SM turns up" which makes her very differcult to beat as a bonedancer, as without my pets its kinda hard to solo stuff unbuffed.

its a good tactic, photon is one of the few people who can beat BDs solo, unlike other mincers who forget about my pets and run in screaming and wonder why they die.

Fact: There was no SoS sound or graphic effect
Fact: There was no Instrument sound or graphic effect
Fact: She moved away at high speed the second she'd used stun on me after I'd hit her, this counts as combat, only SoS would work here - why waste SoS when your opponents stunned for ~6 secs anyway?
Fact: She had hit clipping distance in the time it took to rotate camera 90 degrees
Fact: She had left target range, it dropped around the time stun wore off, ~6 secs
Fact: All the way through there was NO lag on my perf meter, green circles all the way and no other indication whatsoever that I could've been lagged (i.e. hit F6, weapons came up instantly etc.)
Fact: She was killed in HW mid-last week, released and was back there within a minute or two - thought that was kind of odd at the time, seems obvious to me how now

It was definetely a vastly faster speed than speed 5/SoS + sprint, I know what that's like seeing as I have 46 pathfinding on my ranger i.e. speed 5 equiv shout and use it in conjunction with sprint all the time. She'd literally sped off and hit the horizon in the second or less it takes to pan the camera around. I often give the benefit of the doubt because I've been playing Quake1 since before Quakeworld was released then onto Q2, Q3, CS, UO, DAoC (and we all know how fun CS is with cheaters!). I've seen how easy it is for someone to accuse someone else. But with so many facts above pointing to the obvious, would you give the benefit of the doubt?

Are they infact naked ?



Im sure RightNow will deal with it when they can.

If it really was a speed hack rightnow (if it's back up now?) will deal with it very quickly, I once reported someone I believed guilty of using a speedhack and I got a reply that they had been banned in less than 24hours...

If they (RightNow/GOA?) replied to you they banned an account they actually broke the law.

They are not allowed to hand out information about anybody's account, whether this be private e-mail or what kind of sanctionings they used in extension of a report ...

They dont say they ban them in the mail you resive back. Atleast not when ive reported something. Its more like they have looked into the facts and that they have taken right messures to set it straigth or something.

Graphics bugs are very different to being able to move at extreme speed. Even if it was just a freak bug that just happened to occur when she wanted to escape that allowed her to move at such high speeds it's still against the CoC to abuse it as she did.

In case of speed hack, as far as I know, they monitor the suspected cheater and if they catch him doing it, ban him.
Some sort of cheats can probably be detected from logs but speed thingy might be bit hard to check..

I'm afraid worst thing you can do (if you want the cheater banned, that is) is to bring it to forums.
If someone has been cheating and then reads this on forums, they probably wouldn't do it again for good while.

They'll be able to find out where a player was at a certain point in time by looking at the /loc details and timestamps (which I presume they log).

If the X/Y/DIR co-ords are extremely erratic then they can assume that a speed cheat is being used (which does exist and has already been acknowledged) and they should close the naughty person's account.
