Where in the original post did he say he made the 40k rps in 5 minutes, which is what it would take for RS to go and hence,. get rps from the returners. The 6k he got from 54 mids, must meen, as he admits, that they were blue con. Who is to say the other 30 odd k he made wasnt from yellow con level 50's during an evening session?

think its longer than RS timer, RS timer gives the message 'This person was killed recently and is worth no RPs' but after RS i think you get the message 'You have killed this person recently and get no RPs' havent tested the timer but i think its about 15-20 mins.

from those 54 mids, he could have been in a zerg or whatever and only got 6k, for the rest he could have been in a small grp or solo. its certainly not impossible, i got 37k RPs in DF in 1 day duo'ing with my scout and a reaver so its certainly possible. Besides he didnt say how long he was in there
