A large portion of that could refer to Albion excal , perhaps any realm. Suppose it is just saying what everyone who rvr's knows even mythic/Goa.

I think all the things he says make sence, I have noticed that it is a lack of support when it is needed the most due to ppl wanting to kick some enemy butt, but there seems like the american community is gimpes, or maybe it is just there availability of more servers that makes ppl jump and stuff. Otherwise I think it is a good written report as he seems to have gotten the most problems in the report

Darbey's right - what he says is generally sensible - the only trouble is ...

Insert Alb/Hib for Mid and you see your problem - each realm suffers the same problems in slightly different ways on different servers.

The most valuable comments concern support classes/fotm classes/determination.

If Alb/Hib TL support his comments it will be interesting to see how this is received.

Hib report is /wajn about Alb on the other hand...

- Buffbots and spec armor factor buffs give significant advantages for Albion
- Volcanic Pillar (Wizard unique RA) can be stacked and used to decimate forces many times their size.

hmm actually looks ok when I just skimmed it, I read some first draft or something though and quickly decided that I thought he was a retard.

I can see where ppl is going about the change hib/alb for the mid word in his report.

I can't follow the morale issues etc, but I have a feeling that Excalibur is unlike quite a few of the US servers.

Yes seems most US ppl dont suffer from the excali problems. On excali it seems half the playerbase only have one goal, to be the best!!!11. While this whouldnt be a problem in general, in daoc it seems to only be a constant source of whining and bitterness, while the other half of the population is simply left out of RvR.
Imo they should put up one server for l337 ppl and one for more casual gamers who just wanna have fun, that whould be better than any balance fix imo.

A large portion of Midgard-centric players have been suffering an on-going loss of morale as patches over time progress. Many players feel that problems and weaknesses in Midgard have been consistently ignored, while many strengths of the realm have been effectively diminished. There is a general demeanor of defeat amongst the Midgard community, with players feeling forsaken and uninterested in participating in active RvR because of this, or in many situations simply leaving the realm entirely to reroll in another realm. This causes a consistent backlash, as the entire backbone of effective RvR is happy, interested, active people who wish to see their Realm perform well – as these people diminish, Midgard’s effectiveness in RvR diminishes.

that said, he has alot of good points, but I personally feel that while helping midgard rvr generally, savages are ruining rvr for ppl that arent a savage or a MUST in a good group.

Anyways, my point of view is that savages dont make Mid more powerfull in comparision with the other 2 realms. Is their ability to put 4 seers in a fg without gimping their offensive potential, wot gives em the edge (althought the stupid triple/quad hits rate of buffed savages also helps )

Savage's need a nerf imo, but i also think zerkers need something new, they didn't just get hit by the nerfbat, they got knocked for 6.. Think the zerk TL had some good pointsfor upping damage on reactionary/positional styles only.
