FAO: Mids, Albs and Hibs... Mainly Albs...

I play alb excal, the fire wizz.

Been to thid, almost every other night since sunday...Sunday was the last for me.

From what I noticed, there were about 4-5Fg albs outside CK trying to take CK [I'll come back to this] and maybe 1 1/2 FG mids inside..

Okay, I bolt... Get bolted, kill - get killed. As it should be.

Now... To the whine,

WHAT THE HELL IS UP WITH ALBS ON THID?! DO THEY KNOW HOW TO TAKE A BLOODY KEEP?!

Okay, I know it's not mainstream RvR and there's less to think about... But comon :/ How hard is it to take a bloody keep? I've seen relic raids done with 1FG and we can't do this?

Oh, just for people who don't know:


MA = Main Assist, you all assist one person and attack who they're attacking.
Anything that can AoE Mezz/Stun = LEADS, obvious reasons. Not the gimped paladin at the front.
Skill = Laughable.

May be an idea to help ''those who dont know'' by telling them how to do it instead of just flaming them...

/macro assist /assist <name of char who u want to assist>

..is the command to create a button for your quickbar, which when clicked will give u the same target as the person chosen as the ''MA''

Share your pain.. alb sux for sure in bg..most think for some reason that the best is to stay at range and nuke when one pop's.. no leader no charge. 20 alb's in thid no person to control a ram, not even one.

Still manage to give mids a hard time with my cabalist Frugel, pity about the thid cap system these day's..

hmm. i must say my opinion.
I have been soloing some in Thidranki with my Necro (Mirokasin) while albs was trying to get ck time after time after time.
What i saw was alb coming in strong to ck then suddenly stop cause all the casters is droppping like flies and they stop and camp ck. (last clerics/casters getting killed by sb,s ns)
This is just a hint.
Do not camp the central keep (CK) for to long, u will get a 2 front war and loose.... or get hammerd down 1 by 1 from stealthers.
Try to use the element of suprise and the unexpected!!!!

regarding me helping albion . i was just waiting for stealther to jump me and kill em so i could save a couple of casters life .

And a good MA train is good for u who didnt know also

I would suggest that you learn how to play without using assist macros.

Macros are not as efficient as targetting manually. Just agree on a MA in group and hit the targets he hits (make him wear a pink outfit if that helps ).. By spamming the /assist macro you get about a 1sec delay from the time your MA pics a target and you "get" the target which in the end slows down the whole pwn process. This also becomes less usefull when targets go down really fast or if ma switch targets a lot.

And afterall macroing is just another step towards mindless 2 button zerging and who wants to play like that...

Depends who is in the BG really.

If you've got a group or 2 full of people who are willing to work together and ignore the stupidity of the rest in the Thid, you can accomplish a lot. When you've a a Thid CG full egos and no clear leadership, best thing to do is ignore it and use it only to keep track of Mid/Hib locs then your groups do your own thing.

If your plans work, its amazing how many of the random idiots, who thought they new better, start to follow your lead.

and the point was putting %t makes NO difference from /assist when assisting the same person..
since when u highlight that person and hit your /macro assist /assist it still gives you their target... if you want to assist someone else then fine,, but using /assist as a general macro does the same job.

yeah lazy ass pussy mids all ran away when i charged and started owning peeps.. why do people go to thid to run away ffs!! your meant to fight things..

I always use /macro assist /assist.


By using this macro you must first click on the name of the person you want to assist. If you use /macro assist /assist <name> and that person dies, you cant use the macro to assist someone else.
