I happen to like lively banter, but when it results in a screen-full of complaints in the mod room I get a bit pissed, because dealing with the shit detracts from the valuable time I normally use to watch pr0n and pick up chicks on myspace.

you could say so I suppose. I mod a part of this forum where there is a long standing history of self-regulation, meaning that I have little to do because my regular people take care of themselves most of the time.

ofc this doesn't mean that I turn a blind eye to people trying to get around the COC or generally being fools, and I do not forget giving out (verbal) warnings. the forum allows me to warn or ban anybody, so as I happened to notice a lot of complaints this morning when I logged on I'm helping out the other mods by keeping an eye on things while Jup watches 87 episodes of "The Magic Roundabout" in a row.
