way to go mate, bring 1fg of 40+ albs to kill 1fg 20 - 25 mids!


just for those who care this is what happened: me and my grp (all 20 - 25 at the time) were up camping some snowcrabs east of svasud, suddenly this (what appeared to be lvl 50, or i would think close to it, as he was wearing what looked like epic armour) infil pops up and PA's (or some other infil backstyle). He almost killed me in 1 hit (yes, it did hurt) and got me with the second. so, rather than run the rest of the grp set on him, RM nuking and tanks, erm tanking? healer rezed me and i planted my fat ass on the ground in hope i would get a lil power to do somethin. Couldnt believe my eyes when his HP bar went below half and he started to leg it. I got up and starting running after him (along with our little kobbie savage unbearable stuck to his ass, aswell as a few others). Just got enough power to pull off a dot and it stuck, the grp could not believe their eyes when they saw him fall to the ground. i think i counted 87 /victory's after :) Our happiness was short lived tho, 30 mins or so later he turns up with 1fg, all with their glowy weapons, and ofc went right over the top off us. Pride dented a bit? :D

Just one question: was it as good for u as it was for us?

u saved us all alot of time and trouble having to deal with the alb zerg in thid, that one capped us all and more.


PS: Yes i am relatively new to the game, yes i am completely new to RvR - so if this is a regular thing, i apologise. And pop around anytime Leg, we look forward to gettin some more rp's of ya :D

Reminds me of the time I came across a grey-con chanter in the gorge. Feeling in a nice mood, I sat a little way across from him, unstealthed and /waved.
He then immediately let rip with all the nuking he could. I just about made it close enough to kill him in one hit, with about 5% life left. Damn snare pets.

Taught me to not to be so blasse about grey-cons.

Nuky, its moments like that that just make the game... on the treadmill to 50 we got jumped so many times in df... but every so often... me and my mellee buddy would actually have a 50 turn and run, and even rarer... the stun would stick, and we'd dance the "we won" dance...

well done mate... always fight back... sometimes... you will win

If it's there, KILL IT.

Greycons are there for being killed. No mercy. When they grow old, they will kill you. Disturb their progress. Anything goes, and if they don't like it, well....who gives a damn :)

Ive been killed at the snowcrabs loads of times. Take it as a compliment mate that they took time out of their day to come after you. I mean - they actually had to run all the way from odins - avoiding guards to specifically kill you and your group.

Well done :)

I think you made legendary happy now, he was looking to get a thread on bw ;) (not one where he got owned by few lvl 20 mids though)

My GF played runie & healer in that group (Greensleeves & Medicusa), and that sort of makes it more fun :D

She's not been out in RvR territory exp'ing before yesterday, and she tells me this when I got home from work - gave me a good laugh :D

Thanx goes to Legendary for giving Medicusa MCL ;)
