I want 1 free day. Shitty game wouldn't let me log in for 17 tries in a row after i ld'd. If servers crash you give free days, this is the same, as it forces me to do something else while i wanted to play . :touch:

eggy 17 tries = Reboot comp, start daoc to log on, get out of it coz it won't work . reboot again , try loggin gon, reboot again, try logging on again. => 20ish minutes in total.

Did it to me an all when I went LD inside a keep that was under attack by 100+ mids. I guess some people have trouble logging back into keeps where there are huge numbers.

come on, take it to rightnow after you have checked your own system/network/etc or check the mentioned things with help from RN (that is of course if you can reach GOAs website.. if you cant then well, go figure why you cant log on to server).

and if it is at GOAs end.. how can they "fix this shit" based on the info you give here? "I cant log on". I'm tempted to compare that with normal officeworkers that call techsupport saying "my screen doesnt work" when Microsoft Word has crashed, I wont.. but tempted!

Actually I had the same problem and I know another guy in my guild also had this problem. I went LD at a keep with alot of defenders/attackers and I couldn't log back in. I checked my BB screen and it said "Your guildmate Mortality logged on" and 4seconds later "Your guildmate Mortality logged off". And the game frooze at loading screen.

Though I could login other characters that wasn't around that keep. And when my character was moved to my bindpoint I could login that character again.

So it was probably not his fault.

Hehe says the guy that starts his post off with "lol stfu m8". I was being predantic, however it appears I may have been correct in my analysis.

I just don't understand why people come on here whine, whilst providing no relevant information and expect for things to be fixed.

Hey urme the freezing on load screen is a known issue I believe, when the zone or area is too full the thing will get stuck with a full loading bar. Happened to me a few times but now it seems that its gotten better and I don't have the problem anymore.

Yeah this kind of situation occurs because the server is being stressed out in the Frontier zones. Unfortunately there's not much we can do about that, 1200+ people in the zone kinda does that. But, now that things are slowly getting back to normal the problem should slowly fade away. Also there's a lot of system upgrades in the next patch that should boost server performance in the NF and ToA zones.

Upgrades though Hardware or Software? making the software run smoother is always a bonus. Will it affect client side lag as well? or just server side lag? Probably in the patch notes so I'm off to read.

More like 600+ people, we had a healer in our group ld´ing outside Glenlock this weekend when albs sieged it, and he couldnt log back in. Was 150-200? mids in the frontiers, hibs attacked some keep with around 50 people, so say they had 100 people total there. Now I know albs are many, but I doubt they had 900+ people in our frontier at the same time.

the hibs have 150+ lvl 50`s online at prime time. i find it very hard to belive its 1200+ ppl in one zone at the same time eventho albs have alot more players then us

Considering this happened at Glenlock this weekend (with our healer going LD, then not being able to log back on) but we had no problems what-so-ever relogging etc at Svasud, that indicates that the zones you refer to, are the zones in each frontier (Hadrian, Uppland, Emain etc)? Or is each frontier 1 zone? Or all 3 frontiers 1 zone? If its the first, I find it very unlikely that there were 1200+ people in Jamtland at 1 occasion, but I´ll trust your /who logs ofc. Would it be possible for you to tell us how those 1200+ people were divided between hibs/albs/mids btw? Since there has been pretty wild discussions about who had more people etc there, it would be fun to see the actual numbers.
