dunno, but wiki says its a cookie with weed but this here was my first idea (have em at school):

i hate pics of dutch weed, makes me so jealous when round here they flog stuff with sand in to add weight :\

thats a good point, my local baker used to have rom kugler and rum kager :|

though he used to call it studenter kage too, dunno if its meant to be the same thing

Aye, it's where they put all the stuff that no one eats and mix it with sugar and marmite and stuff like that :p

Well, they call jaffa cakes... cakes. Silly really. Glorified cookies. So maybe it's payback :D

Lucky we only got one word for all cookie/biscuit/tiny "puny cake things" in finland :D

It's because in the UK chocolate biscuits are taxed (legacy law from war time, they were regarded as a luxury),but cakes are not
If they lost they would have had a significant hit to revenue or would have to raise the prices

Aren't Jaffa Cakse called Jaffa Cakes to avoid the Biscuit tax or something?

It's because in the UK chocolate biscuits are taxed (legacy law from war time, they were regarded as a luxury),but cakes are not
If they lost they would have had a significant hit to revenue or would have to raise the prices
