Today the government decided that we should pay tv license for our internet connections.

"Der indføres en medielicens, og den nuværende radiolicens bevares. Medielicensen omfatter alle apperater, der er i stand til at modtage billedprogrammer og –tjenester, herunder computere og visse mobiltelefoner. Den dækker for husstande alle licenspligtige apperater i den pågældende husstand og vil blive opkrævet efter det tilmeldingsprincip, som gælder for den nuværende licensordning."

Sooo.. what are you people going to do about it?

I for one is going setting my router to block traffic to and from www.dr.dk so i cant recieve their 'tv-signals' and then legally cant be forced to pay

Any thoughts?

also, i wont pay - im paying my isp to get online, to have free access to the web, not to get limited state forcing me to pay (if it was pay per view ok then i dont care, dr.dk/tv.2.dk dont offer anything i wanna see unless they store daoc vids!)

I figured it's just the same 150 DKR we pay every year for TV, meaning that you won't have to pay extra unless you don't have a television. And most have that at the moment to be honest.

Well many of us doesnt have tv and doesnt watch tv on the internet anyways so we will be paying for a service we dont need. And we are not given a choice whether to pay or not (unless you consider no computer as a choice )

i know alot who cant afford those prices, especially when they will cut in some forms of educational support, i for one cant (i dont know how they will cut in SU though, could be for my benefit, but both things are stupid)

150 kr? i pay 1300 or something every 3rd month or something for the tv licens an its enough when you only get su

Idd. and to bring it back on topic do you think we can solve the problem simply by blocking router access to tv2.dk and dr.dk?

At least it would be a worthwhile argument in court
