Since NF is coming soon i've started to think about my new ra template.

Think i'll be going for this, need 9L5 for it:

(5) Augmented Dexterity +48 dex
(3) Augmented Acuity +22 int
(3) Mastery of Magery +7 % Direct Damage
(3) Wild Power +17 % chance of damage spell critical
(1) Mastery of Focus +3 lvl to spells vs. resists
(1) Mystic Crystal Lore +25 % power restored non-combat, 180s resuse
(2) Purge 0s delay, 15m RUT : Dispel Negative Effects
(1) Spirit Martyr R5L0 RA: sacrifice pet to heal grp up to 600 each, 10m RUT


Opinions? What are you going for? :)

Aug.Dex 5? Isnt that overdoing it just a bit? You cap your speed (or so I've been told) at around 380 dex, but with power being (way) more expensive, I'd personally go for dmg ra's more then speed...

Speed is just another way of increasing your DPS, but you increase your DPS at the cost of power, and power is expensive in NF... While aug.aquity / wp / mom increase your DPS too, but not at the cost of power...

Anyways just something to think about really...

I'm not that high rr yet, and I'm in doubt between some active's or aug.dex 3... Havent decided yet... But I will be going for Purge 3 + MoC 1, as both are v.nice as main cc'er + interrupter... MoC 1 is as high as it'll probably get... Would be more for interrupting, then cc'ing... But healers got so many actives, PR / DI / BoF...

Think you cap it with ~380dex and mota3 but mota is removed in NF..
But anyway other option for me is to take wp4 instead of aug dex5 which is maybe better. But aug dex4 is absolute minimum.

I also think that moc is crap for anyone else than interrupters/cc'rs because in fact it doesnt only lower your damage by 25%... think about all the passives you'll lose when you get moc.

I not 100% sure yet, but thinking of this at 7L9:

(3) Thornweed Field 250d/30s ae-target dmg w/ snare, 3s tick, 2s non-inter. cast, 10m RUT
(1) Allure of Death R5L0 RA: self and pets take skelletal form, 75% chance to resist cc/ns, 60s dur, 10m RUT

cast speed is capped at 40% of delve to get this you need 10% cast speed and 385 dex.

Assuming you have +10 dex at creation +25 dex cap and capped buffs iirc(trying to remember an old post i read) you need aug dex 3 for kobold aug dex 4 for norse to cap.


Right now for RA's Id sugest this:

This spec you will have a 10.8% increase in dmg as opposed to yours at 17.4% so a loss of 6.6% dmg but you gain MoC3.

Why MoC ?. even though its a 25% decrease in dmg when used the new moc lasts for 30 secs(twice as long) AND has only a 15 min re-use timer as opposed to 30 mins.

So using this template youl see a permanent decrease of 6.6%dmg plus an addition 25% decrease when mocing. Personaly I'd say its well worth it, I think your forgetting several things, your going to be inturpted a lot especialy in NF where AOE nuking is used a lot more to leach, also moc will add a lot to an SMs survivablilty and with the crap Rez sick we get in NF where you gain no RPs while RS surviabilty for a caster is a must.
