Hi there - on behalf of karlophin and myself i'd like to apologies for that group ganking you so rudely in odins tonight - was out of order - u and karl were having a nice little battle - no need for them to rush in mass-gank you.

Incidentally - lovely work before that Bibi - assume you true sighted me near the gate - soo nearly had me - managed to evade your second and third shots though and make it to melee - would still have lost if it wasn't fer Karl helping me though - blasted slam hehe.

I think instead of sitting @ their main keeps for hours waiting for groups people should go to odins a bit more - nice for small-scale rvr where tactics and reactions do matter - zerging is good rps aye but lets face it 1-1 or 1 group on 1 gruop is more satisfying and more fun all around.

totally agree with autar, didn't realise he was gonna get so close to going down so quickly, by the time I had reached you to deal some pain the poor elf was on his last legs. I was expecting some kind of sprint run from you but full respect for attempting to finish him off.

The second time you appeared and shot a green con champ who decided to appear with his group I dont think you quite expected me to appear from round the corner for yet another fight, however this seemed to result of the typical call of /Y ALBS from some other hibbies who had just turned up at the gate. Be good to have a 1v1 with ya and see who wins. I had just solo'd sharpshutze that evening in emain and it was a damn damn close fight slam/crit/IP etc etc. He went down and I had nothing left on my health bar, Ip and triple wield oth spent. About 2 mins late I was resting and DD/Mez/sword/dead from alpha. Same as ever

Incidentally i'm inclined to agree - slam gives a serious advantage. Heard something about slam being affected by resists though? Is that true - if so which one?

Heheh Bishibosh was scouting out AMG for me and my cleric again, We went over but Bish went for your caster before we got there. When we all came back again Bish went forward to scout it out again and spotted the full group there now, so we hung back whilst he suicided.

Quite agree though, its much more fun in Odins then emain these days.

bah evading arrows, what is this, the matrix hehe, i was trying to see how many of you tehre were by looking under the gate the second time, i saw about 4 people, so i /y ed a few times to try to get everyone to run out so i could see how many, and after that i did my "run into a zerg and jump around in circles" trick hehe

Slam is the scouts spell/dualwield line and his only means of getting away.

Archers are a bit different, but pretty balanced(nerfed). Maybe hunters need a little loving i think, but allround archerclasses match eachother well.

Recently i faced a ranger in close combat so i slammed him and
did a crit, but with a pretty high weapon line and some minor health buffs he was able to win the melee. Was very close but
i think pretty even.

A hunter who has a pet > scouts and rangers

if you start to beat a ranger hand to hand they just speed burst off, very annoying, a scouts high shield spec makes them face ranger pretty well i think, as if ranger doesnt spec dual much theyd do more damage with the one weapon and the other hand empty
btw I swear crit doesnt work after slam

Aye have to say it scouts will give me and most other rangers a good beating in melee but we can dish out more ranged damage (due to self buffs) if we're so inclined.

Something for the albs in odins today.....Have to say it our seven and your 8 had a nice battle at the amg - we won aye but it could have gone either way up until the end - nice fight first time round - thoroughly enjoyed it.

But what dissapointed me was that (most of) you came back with the better part of 3fg of alb - why? You saw all of our number and knew you outnumbered us anyways - why bring along more people to remove any skill from the fight?
If they followed you from the tk then i apologise but it didnt look like you were seperate groups that happened to arrive at the same time to me or my groupmates - looked very much like a co-ordinated attack to us.

I know i know - in game war blah blah blah - turnstiles @ the tk's blah blah blah - and yes i realise the battles aren't supposed to be 'fair'.
However, look at it this way...(and this applies to both albs and hibs - seen hibs do it as well). One side beats the other - other side comes back with twice the troop numbers - floors the other side with no contest.....Other side either thinks 'sod that then' and goes off elsewhere, (no rps for anyone) or comes back with more people again and whoops it's a zerg - may as well have gone to emain.

Think on it - just my views on the subject
