FAO anyone with some time and possibility to do Web pages

Seems that lately a lot of ppl (me included) have been whining over having a 1.65 server, this has even brought up free shard servers to discussion.

So, could anyone do a webpage, where he could put up a petition for a 1.65 server? Then we could see how many people actually are interested of a server like that, I dont know if we'd achieve anything but I think it would be our best way to influence GOA and tell our opinion.

Like I said, I dont know if it'll make a difference, but there's a slim chance it would.

I mean seriously, 350+ signed the petition now. I would guess 50% of the daoc population on Excalibur alone reads FH. If you add the ones that doesnt read fh as well as americans and the french/german people you probably have 2000+ people who would play this server.

I just cant see how that wouldnt be a good investment, doesnt matter if its goa or mythic who takes the initiative.

I don't think it is about the profit that they're making, but think about updating things to remove bugs etc, would the people running the server have to make a petition to remove a bug every time one was found?

I totally agree, but yes, the game couldnt be let there as some people have pointed out, just non Expansions or whatsoever. I dont believe Mythic would go for that.

I have to agree here, but let's say that we get few thousand names, I mean a new petition where people would sign <Your Name> additional info:<Chars + an opinion> maybe Mythic would listen to us then, big maybe but better to just post here and whine, ey?

Been done, next thing to try is directly contact with Mythic.

To be short: "GOA only make this product (DAoC) available for users in Europe, they don't develop it or anything. Because of this they can't make a change without permition by Mythic, or mabe put it in some other way: "If Mythic haven't done it allready, they can't do it!""


For the people that say that Camlann is the 3rd English server. It just isn't so. The mayority of the people who play on Camlann is germans and french people, not the english community. The server was made english for one reason, and one reason alone. To allow most users (basicly devided in three: english (don't get me wrong, this doesn't mean british people), german and french people) to understand (after all, english is supose to be a World Language, like Latin used to dominate earlier).

It was to little people who wanted the PvP server, so making one server for each community just wasn't a solution.

As for spreading the words out. Camlann is the perfect place to do so. Just in one day I managed to get in touch with people (RvR people basicly) from all realms on 4 different servers.

itl never happen, theyd have to release a 1.65z patch that incldes all current bug fixes and such, and dont forget all the toys youd lose, no fop no this no that. everyone would be whining like ***** again. Its a waste of time for mythic and they would never do it.
