what i have against ala is that she isnt nice to anyone and had a really bad attitude problem

I feel I have to interject here too.

Having this entire issue brought to my attention I decided, as you know, to attempt to talk to everyone especially the one that seemed to be bearing the brunt of it, Ala.

Eventually myself and Ala got talking on MSN and then used that audio thingy, wow! even thru my laptop speakers and mic it was good. I found her to be interesting, mature to say the least and definately a very nice person to talk to. Couldn't sense an attitude problem as well. We didn't just talk about DAOC as there is life outside of these forums.

One thing that does seem to be familiar is the level of anamosity aimed at the females who frequent these forums.

its not aimed at females at all, there are only a handful that pass through here, not my fault if they are really that annoying (and honestly.. they are..!)

I call lots of people babe, my 2 sisters who are 31 and 33 get called babe by me, my daughter of 10 gets called babe by me, my son of 13 gets called babe by me. He doesn't throw a tantrum but looks upon it as a sign of affection from someone.

I don't recall you giving me any chances to be nice and as you were being rude to my friend Tisme I wasn't about to /hug you for it. You have continuously been flaming and rude to her and I launched a counter defense because I didn't like the vendetta you had going at that time against Tisme when all she was doing was bringing light and laughter to these forums. This thread is quite funny, in a sad kind of way.

Surely you're being metaphorical when stating that 'you hate x', how can you hate somebody who you've probably never even met?

I've yet to find somebody who isn't more brave in letting their opinions be known on an internet forum than they are in real life. There are people in general who are always trying to trip me up, but I don't really view them negatively, they're probably really nice people in real life, its just that their online personas are slightly more edgy.

Try to be a bit more mature, and stop baiting each other. You might find this place becomes a bit nicer, and more people would come here because of that.
